We all look up toward the end When our time is drawing near. Steady as you go around the bend And know there's nothing left to fear.

I have just started to work on "Seek and Ye Shall Find". I just randomly chose one of the stanzas hoping that we could get some discussion going about the hunt. The stanzas all seem to be so vague. Maybe we can just dump some ideas here, and see where we can go with it.
The author stated that the final spot will be in WI, IL, MI, IN or OH. So based on that, I wonder if "bend" could refer to South Bend, Indiana or West Bend, Wisconsin.
Could the word "up" mean "north"
Could the word "drawing" be related to art?
Has anyone gotten anywhere with this stanza, or any other stanza?

I may be reading the clues incorrectly, but I don't think South Bend is viable. South Bend is South of Hell, MI, and I think the treasure must be North of Hell. West Bend definitely could be what he is talking about. Up could be North, and drawing could be art. Good thinking. I'm working on this hunt too, but have not figured out anything that I am really confident about.

I totally agree with your comment about the TREASURE being north of Hell. But from what I have gathered with the poem, it seems to be leading us on a trail. Eventhough the treasure may be north of Hell, the poem (and trail), may possibly lead us south of Hell, and maybe into some of the states that the author has eliminated.
I did write to him to ask this question...if the poem was confined to the states of WI, IL, MI, IN and OH, but I have not received a reply.
I have not figured out anything that I am confident about either. The author said he was influenced by Forrest Fenn's poem, and certainly both poems are very ambigious. I don't think this will be solved any time soon. A person can read too many things into the vague clues. I think we will need some help from the author if we are to solve this, or maybe I should say, if HE wants it solved!
I will be happy to discuss any of the stanzas. I just picked one so that we could get some discussion started. So if you, or anyone else wants to post another, I will jump in on the conversation.

You are right about the trail possibly going south of Hell. I don't know where my brain was.
