The images contain much information individually. They also give hints and information, to be used with other images. . Pages 19 and 23 will be used as an example. . As previously discussed, p. 19 has much information, including lat / long coordinates. It also ties to other pages like p. 40 (“AF-EAST OF WORDS”). . A fun an useful reference, is given with red-blue anagram “REFLECTIONS” and the phrases . AN EYE REFLECTS COUNT TO THREE . We already understand that “TO THREE” is also taken as 23 for several reasons, one being that it is a coordinate ( as is the RV plate 62-18 = 44). It also relates to p. 23. . NOW SMILE . Moving to p. 23, the lobsterman’s shirt closely resembles “I’D RATHER BE SMILING” (look at the cut “A” and “N” carefully. Also the L/D, which are of the HELD on p. 19). . There are additional hints toward using the reflection on p. 23, such as the boat letters reflected on the water, and the trap reflected on the oar. . The lobsterman is not constructed correctly, per se (the torso, hat, face, etc.), but by using reflection, he can be made to smile. There is much more to it; have fun. . By the way, if anyone knows of free software that can reflect parts of images on themselves, please post. I’m using a mirror for now. ( I don’t want to pay for Photoshop ).

astree...you made me smile with saying you're using a mirror- because it connects to me on the lengths I myself go through to solve a puzzle.. ....Oh the 'tools' we puzzlers use and the things we do...if anyone watched us (besides our families) they would think there is something definitely unique about us.....and of course, I would have to agree! Reversals and reflections do seem to play an important role.... The Number/Word Square Reflects as well once done. This is such an awesome hunt..... we need to get busy and solve this one since it ends 2020..... it's 'eyetime' to get it done!

Hi Jenny,
Your 'eyetime' hit home in several ways, and directly related to some of the hidden info. It caught my attention, and I had to return that smile.
I was cued into the reflection by the preceding image "AN EYE REFLECTS" and "REFLECTION" and because the pages contain, for one thing, information linked to other images.
On p. 23, there is other hidden reflection information that hasn't been mentioned.
In addition to the image reflection info, one of the coded phrases is 'SO EA' which I believe is SO EACH, or another interpretation (I need to finish the bouy and some other decodes first to take it in context).
But, the main point re: reflection is that the phrase SO EA is repeated (confirmed) by the reflection of the boat letters (which are ostensibly a masked AEOLUS) shown as AEO S, which is reflection on one axis on the water, but on the vertical axis repeats the SO EA.
The PART (reflection of TRAP on the oar) I believe is another piece of the pages instructions, but again, need to get the rest of the words.
I don't think reflections are used on all images, but the p. 19 cross-linked to p. 23 was a big tip off, as well as p. 23 itself.
This IS a great puzzle. I am amazed by the amount of effort the authors put into it, but sorry to see they are not getting more credit.
Good Luck, astree
PS
The TWO TOGETHER phrase (which is used more than once on the images) goes with the LOVE on p. 55. 5 and 2 and close to reflections of each other. "2 together" reminds me of the phrase Forrest gave you in the Six Questions (thanks for the continued stream of intriguing articles you post) where he said "marry the two", going into the Valentine's Day.
Both the phrases, and their context, go with using the 2 with a reflected 2, to form a heart.

I think this piece of the p. 23 is " ... so each part ..."

I'm liking the fact that there is a definite end date - I'm a sucker for the pressure of a deadline haha. The thing is I ordered the book this week and have to wait until mid August for it to arrive in the UK, so have been delving into MW and Tweleve to get some kind of starting point. I have some ideas already so will share those once I get the book and it if doesn't blow my theories away on day 1.
Thanks for the updates and insight Jenny, this site is very welcome and a valuable addition to any seeker's toolkit.

. this second bottle, hidden without the reflection, is directly below the "wine bottle" on the shelf ( as well, it could almost be a rocket to "circle the globe" 1957, the first orbital launches by the Russians Sputnik ... more there when you do reflections on the globe, which doesnt have a sensible base)

Looking at the cover i see 'eyes' in the trees. "AN EYE REFLECTS" seems relevant. Wonder if the eyes could really be "I"s. The border font is wide and could easily be split/reflected in the middle. Not sure where to apply this yet..

Not sure where to apply this yet.. I think those are good possibilities. The polybius on the page P. 19 shows the letter I next to the word EYE in the border, and there are red EYE and I on that page as well. I haven’t tried reflecting the trees on the cover yet to see if it form faces or anything else interesting
