Give the poem to a Child, Big Picture.
WWWH= group of Basin(s)=Yellowstone=Yellow Brick And take it in = it = Road= i.e. take the yellow brick road Home of Brown = Kansas (wiki "Kansas" for why), put in the below Ar-kansas river No place for the meek = Haunted Forest (Dorthy quote "I am small and meek") lions, tigers and bears Oh-My End is ever drawing nigh = Hourglass or Rainbow no paddle up your creek = (key clue in my solved location that I will search this summer, gl with this one, lol) Heavy loads and water high = how the wicked witches die (house/water to face) If you've been wise and found the blaze.. Blaze = Wizard = humbug (Wizard quote "I am just a humbug" or blaze = ruby slippers = Ruby Gulch Trail Head but 10400 feet? Look down quickly your quest to cease = look at the ruby slippers for the way to go home Tarry scant with marvel gaze = Totto's real name (Tarry) and Professor Marvel (character in movie) Answer to the fifth stanza = I am going Home= there is no place like home Listen good = Listen to the songs of the movie = Find the answers i.e. "Brave as a Blizzard" "off to find the Wizard"

Nice. Mine has to do with chile peppers or trains. Our both of them put together.
The Chile pepper solve is fun.
WWWH = Chile. A name that sounds hot but is cold.
Home of New Mexico's Chile Hatch Festival
Canyon Down - take it in the mouth = Gorge = Chili Pepper contest.
LOL...Not far, but to far too walk.
Home of Brown = Roasting of the Chili Hatch and carved wooden bears everywhere for purchase.
No place for the meek = Timid
heavy loads of chilies and water's high of tears and other mucus membrane running out of your body.
Tarry Scant = Don't mingle long
If your brave and hold out for the win.
If you been wise and know how to handle your spice
If your in the wood at the table with other contestants
It's worth the cold nice milk and water.
Just having fun with it.

If you take this a step further, according to some, the Wizard of Oz looks like an innocent children's story on the surface but may have deeper symbolic story lines. Political allegory from late 1800's-early 1900's...economic depression, people losing farms (tornado), yellow brick road symbolizes gold standard which lead to Emerald city (green for paper money), the Wizard was William Mckinley, tin man (laborer) can't move and needs Rockefeller's oil to get back to work etc. Does get you thinking about what context or theme this poem could be portraying...

I believe very strongly that there is a deep link between the Wizard of Oz and TTOTC, but not very much in the context of actually deciphering the poem. More about this later.
