Here are some riddled rabbit holes I fell down... POEM:I fly like a realized Bourbon Red with a pointy head and feathers on my butt. Where am I? CLUES:
Clue, December 2017 – The Fifth. Clue, November 2017 - The book's main character, Nelson Ware, has said, "Every word is important in my writing." Source: www.learningstrategies.com/BreakfastTeaAndBourbonRabbit Hole #1 - Judy
The last words of each line = Red head butt I = Red head beauty = Judy You are somewhere in Judy, Kentucky (just outside of Bourbon County where the Bourbon Red turkey originated) Rabbit Hole #2 - Fallen Apple
Fifth chapter is "Falling Apples" Bourbon Red turkeys don't really "fly". So maybe they fall like an apple? An apple falling has a pointy head and a leaf in its butt, and would cover about 4"x 4" after splatting on the ground. HA! Rabbit Hole #3 - The Sidecar
You are a bourbon sidecar sitting on a 4"x 4" coaster at the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee Rabbit Hole #4 - The Kiser and a Peacock- I googled "Bourbon County, Kentucky" and narrowed my search to within the county lines
- The first line of the poem has 27 characters
- The second line of the poem has 18 (with spaces)
- The total poem, excluding the last line ("where am I?") is 76 characters
I found Hwy 27 in Bourbon County, which intersects with Hwy 1876 at Peacock Road and Clay Kiser road. - A Kiser has a pointy head
- A peacock has feathers in it's butt!
- And there's a 4x4 square in the front yard of the historic house at the intersection:
38.274375, -84.299936
That's as far as I got, and I apparently didn't get anywhere!

Feathers in the tail. Pointy head, yet a Bourbon Red doesn't fly. Sounds like they are talking about a free falling bomb

Feathers in the tail. Pointy head, yet a Bourbon Red doesn't fly. Sounds like they are talking about a free falling bomb I havent been following this. Does “arrow” work (or some variation thereof) ? Also noticing the “Where” am I compared to quote from Wares. (Ware am I)?

Riddle details can be found in the picture, or by heading to the following link, and scrolling halfway down the page past the book treasure hunt stuff: www.learningstrategies.com/BreakfastTeaAndBourbonAn arrow is a possibility! There is an arrow sculpture in Turkey, Texas that was my one, and so far only, submission. Attachments:

Feathers in the tail. Pointy head, yet a Bourbon Red doesn't fly. Sounds like they are talking about a free falling bomb I hadn't considered using a bomb. I'm sure I'm on a list now after Googling "bomb" so many times. One idea I did put some time into was planes. Several types have bird names or nicknames. You might know the "Spruce Goose" by Howard Hughes, or the SR-71 Blackbird. Even the Grumman F-14 Tomcat was nicknamed Turkey because of how it looks on the ground with the wings folded back. The December 2017 clue "The Fifth" looks like it could be referring to a fifth (pint) of Bourbon Red, the Fifth Amendment, the fifth word, etc.
I was looking at the fifth letters of all words, long enough, in the riddle.
