Possible Method to find a Solution?

With 13 lines in the verse, and thinking how I would make a tribute hunt, it got me thinking what if instead of matching verse to image, like it was for The Secret, it is match one line of the verse, to a piece in the image, for a location, and each of these, once solved and understood together, will help lead to the location of the 13th casque?

The way I interpret the verse is that there are two ways of solving the puzzle. Either start from the beginning (line 1) or last line.
Using this technique, middle of the verse, line 7 is the destination. So we may have two sets of clues independent of each-other.

I hate to say this but it could also mean that we have to solve a two stage decypher, "It's important to find all clues (decypher keys) learned now from methodes past"

I think the line "Learned now from methods past" means to solve the puzzle you need to find two things that intersect to locate the dig site. The person that made this puzzle believes the Chicago casque was meant to be found by intersecting the "Fence and fixture" in the Chicago verse meaning the fence post that is pictured in the painting and a utility box (fixture, he believes) that hangs on a nearby wall. And digging where the two items intersect.

As there seem to be some good cases being built for various locations, what if that intersection point or X marks the spot (like possibly hinted to at the end of the Hatchet (jingle bell thing)) comes from the need for identifying more than just one spot? For an X it would be 4 locations on a larger map, with the point of the hidden casque being where all those points intersect.

I agree with Dustin. I think there is an intersecting point. For this, I think it is below a particular window that intersects with the seventh of something.

Totally unrelated but when I originally read the verse line "Valkyrie's window with seven" I thought it was talking about Windows 7 blue screen of death or BSOD as it's commonly referred to. I thought maybe a cypher key.

That's a good find Gabby. It's consistent with the "branding iron" map.
But why 'n and not In?

I’m dunno. ‘n = than by definition.

If Marsh and Hill are benches then "In marsh, hillside" could mean in the Marsh-bench area on the side closest to Hill-bench. So I don't get why abbreviate In to translate to than.
