Don't you just love these type of emails we all get when we buy something online? And especially the follow up ads to buy the product you just bought? It's amazing to me. lol
Home Depot asked me (3 times so far) to rate my purchase of a three-way light bulb. Can you imagine? A three-way light bulb? What do you want me to say? So I decided to write one and after all the work I put into it they would not accept it because it was longer than 300 characters. Seriously? You expect me to give this product the rating it deserves in only 300 characters? Since they won't accept it I decided I would post it here for anyone that might be thinking about buying this particular three-way light bulb from Home Depot.
"After repeated requests, almost demands, from Home Depot through my email account that I rate my recent purchase of a Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K). I have decided to take the time necessary to get this rating of a Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) done so maybe there will be room in my email box for more important letters like the ones from my new friend in Nigeria that is going to share with me the wealth of his recently deceased great-grandfather.
So, as I started down the light bulb aisle looking for a 3-way light bulb to replace the one in my bedside lamp that recently gave its last gasp of light waves I saw the subject of this rating, a Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) sitting on the shelf. The packaging, much to my later unpleasant surprise, attracted me to the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) as it sat there. So, I immediately picked up the said Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) and read the information on the said packaging that in no way warned me of the trouble I would have in the near future. However, the description met the parameters I was searching for in a three-way light bulb so I took the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) to the checkout and paid the cashier the amount determined by the scanning device for this Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K).
Having now purchased my Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) I returned to my home where my bedside was basked in darkness. It was here that I encountered a problem I was in no way prepared to encounter by the writing on the packaging. I removed the packaged Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) from the Home Depot bag and I found the only way I could remove the bulb was to literally destroy the package before it did any harm to me. After a brief struggle with the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) packaging I victoriously succeeded in reaching a point where I could actually remove the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) from its packaging. I was then able to successfully install the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) into my bedside lamp with little difficulty.
It is here that the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) started meeting all of my expectations. With the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) safely installed, I rotated the switch on the bedside lamp one click and the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) immediately sprang to life! The light rays did not blind me so I felt sure this must be the low power setting for the amount of light being generated by the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K), one of three variations of light ray emitting to be expected. Another click of the switch and the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) now shone a little brighter. In one more click the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) shone even brighter meeting almost all of my expectations. There was only one more test for the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) to pass that would, without a doubt, make me completely elated with my purchase of the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) from Home Depot. One more click and the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) went completely dark making it 100% successful at meeting all of my hopes and dreams I had aspired to for the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K).
It was amazing to see the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) perform so flawlessly. So, even though I had some trouble with the packaging of this particular Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) I feel confident in giving the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) a Five Star rating, though I do reserve the right to change this rating if in the future the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K) does not meet its lifetime expectancy through no fault of my own. Thank you Home Depot for making this amazing light bulb, the Philips 50-Watt/100-Watt/150-Watt Equivalent A21 Energy Saving 3 Way LED Light Bulb Soft White (2700K), available to your loyal customers such as myself.
