I've been wondering if this stanza is about trick-taking games like euchre and spades or trick avoidance games like reversis and hearts. That would definitely make this stanza a "tricky one." Also, these games involve taking your "turn" and go in a clockwise/counterclockwise direction. Just a thought. Interesting. Do you have any way of relating Euchre specifically to the known partial solve "no sea legs here" = c6 (the November hint video)? Would you ever say something about taking clubs that way? What about the other potential solves that *aren't* letters for suits of cards (c, h, s, or d)? We've got f5 and e6, and I'm not having any ideas about how those would relate to Euchre.

I never played or even heard of b4 this hunt but ive been wondering about it since i first got here as it was something mentioned in his six questions . Euchre is played with a partial card deck of just the 9's through aces: 24 cards. It is typically played with a pair of teams (like bridge), but I've also played Cutthroat, which has only 3 players. In regular Euchre, each player gets 5 cards. Like bridge, there is a "trump" suit established by opening bidding. Once that trump suit has been declared by the "offense," the ranking of all cards -- for just that hand -- is established. The jack of trump is the highest card (the "Right Bower"), and the second highest-ranking card is the other jack of the same color (the "Left Bower"). After the Bowers, the next 5 highest ranking cards are the ace, king, queen, ten and nine of trump. Priority then follows regular card rules: any aces of non-trump beat any kings of non-trump, then queens, etc. Side note: for any fans of the show "24", Keifer Sutherland's main character had the card-game redundant name "Jack Bauer". ;-)

How the hell are we supposed to play with c4 carefully during an f5 when we are already seasick at high seas.i dont care what song we play that just seems dangerous ....lol

I donk know if anyone else has noticed this but in the video literally right after he says carefully there seems to be a subtle change in the background music and it seems to go back to normal right after that verse. Not sure if its anything but try focusing on the music and you will notice something happens at that exact part . Maybe coincidental maybe not.

Also something else i find might be noteworthy. In most of these videos theres no background...most of the videos have nothing behind him except main hunt video and faq video. interestingly in faq video he does seem to keep very casually keep bringing that founding poster into frame and at one point if you watch carefully i swear he even looks that way out of the corner of his eye. Probably nothing i suppose but just thought id point that out

So my latest thought on this is it might be more obvious than we think and it makes alot of sense. Ok thinking in terms of carefully alot of our answers are dangerous c4 f5 possible c6 depending on interpretation being either high seas or sea sick but i think driving the e6 hiway is relatively harmless but on a long road trip someone might say "drive carefully" :so my thought is 0's for the things that would be impossible to do carefully and maybe either the number left over (6 for e6 )or possibly a 1 in the spot where e6 is represented. That would fit the tricky part and play it carefully and you would need the alphanumeric answers to make it work. I think this might be the right path. Any thoughts?

Just adding a little more to this e6 a song you could play carefully e6 a long coastal hiway drive carefully. This has got to be it. So i think its either 0006 or 0001 because its a "tricky 1" im leaning towards 0001. One thing you can play "carefully "

So idk if im starting to overthink it but TURN might also fit perfectly so in my last post i explain how i got to 0001 . Now if you look at the big picture we're playing a game for $1000 id say that warrants playing carefully. So thinking that way doesn't it fit everything.

I don’t see where any progress has been made. 10 digit number. Not seeing the connection between the stanzas to solve this problem. Need a new direction on ten pins ten cuts and turn. Do we need to and the ten pins and ten cuts then turn that into the final string of numbers as the answer.

Happy Christmas Everyone. First of all thanks to Jenny for a great website / forum. As far as I can see they have become THE place to go for armchair treasure hunts. I’ve been keeping an eye on the MW Oracle forum because I’ve been working on that hunt for over 10 years now but so far haven’t got involved in any of the discussions (because I’ve been working on my own methods which no one else has mentioned). I tend to focus on one hunt at a time but a couple of days ago I decided to look for a new challenge to work on and took a look at DBT. The riddle looks really good and I immediately started reading through all the threads on this forum to gain a sense of what has been done so far. I haven’t worked through all the threads yet and it might take me a while to do that if I get distracted with The Oracle again, but I have a couple of things I’d like to post in the meantime. The first is about the Strongest Wind. It seems that F5 has been proposed for this and has not been debated further. I’d like to suggest an alternative. There are different scales ranking wind strength but to me the first one that comes to mind is Saffir Simpson which ranks hurricanes into 5 categories, which are sometimes written as C1-C5. I wouldn’t be surprised if the answer for strongest wind is C5.

Interesting! I played around with C5, and although I'm fairly sure this wont help, it is certainly worth looking at the first image that popped up when i turned it into coordinates. Very clearly a '605' right in the middle of a huge tunnel. If nothing else, one of the more interesting random coordinates results i have had pop up! goo.gl/maps/cQ3Gbfxd1F25ThSFA

My first thought when seeing C4, F5, C6, E6, I thought about them as musical notes which have a frequency and a wavelength. C4 261.63 Hz 131.87 cm F5 698.46 Hz 49.39 cm C6 1046.50 Hz 32.97 cm E6 1318.51 Hz 26.17 cm
Just a thought

dont know if you have all seen the latest video www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5E2zSYk1Js&t=1s4566 is NOT the solution to this stanza. The solution HAS been suggested already on this forum, he did not say which thread. I suggest that we all go looking and cut paste all previous suggested solution here so that we can review where we are. I cant imagine there would have been that many being that so many of us were convinced of the C4 F5 C6 E6.
