I wanted to start a thread on thoughts for what we are ultimately looking for....
Is it a IP Address-- and so numbers? Like 173.194.203.106 (which takes you to Google)... But another set which would take us to a page to claim the $1000...
or is it a name-- which would be used again to take us to a website to claim the prize..... or other ideas?
What do you all think?

I think what we are ultimately looking for is a treasure worth $1,000.....
In a non-sarcastic way though, I think we are looking for a website, that will look pretty ordinary, that will have a linked page to a section containing instructions on how to get to the "treasure" using the first key. When we get to the site with the treasure I think there will be some sort of numerical code that will correspond to a quote by the person referenced in the stanza for the second key, needing the person to input the missing numbers in the series in order to unlock the treasure and claim the prize...
I could be miles out though

so first a website..... in whatever way we may get there..... just trying to think of other ways we can be led to a website or page?? if not by name or IP....

Im thinking Key 1 gets you to a website. Key 2 will help you solve another puzzle on that website.

The discovery of a phone number-- 10 digits --- has been suggested too....

In order to go to a website, a person only needs to place in the name and then .com or other in the search bar. For instance, to go to MysteriousWritings-- you only need to write msyteriouswritings.com. What I'm suggesting is you don't need the www given...and with the clue 'ones and zeros' it might be thought a given.
It's very possible once a searcher finds the website, then there is an additional task to do. Lukas seems to suggest this in his latest Q/A.
And in Ready Player One that is what is needed.... a searcher solved one part, but then had to solve another before succeeding.
Our case might be the same.

And in Ready Player One that is what is needed.... a searcher solved one part, but then had to solve another before succeeding. Our case might be the same. THis only works if the DNS server has been set up for partial addresses What dns does is converts a URL(words that makes sense to us humans) into an IP address that makes sense to a computer. It also depends on what type of record existing in the DNS server. A MX record for instance would specify the exact IP address for a mail server, an A record would specify the exact ip address for a web server and there are intermediate pointers or alias pointers (CNAME) that are partially resolved requiring a second lookup to resolve the IP completely MysteriousWritings.com is such a case. If you enter www.MysteriousWritings.com on this site dnschecker.org/all-dns-records-of-domain.php you will see the following Actually the guy that set that DNS up did it wrong,( the CNAME should be MysteriousWritings.com and the A record should be http://www.MysteriousWritings.com) but it doesnt matter, because whatever ever you type eventually it resolves to the correct IP address Im theory what should happen (if the DNS been set up correctly in the above) is when you type in MysteriousWritings.com into your browser the DNS server would resolve this ALIAS URL into its true address http://WWW.MysteriousWritings.com. It would then do a second lookup of of this complete URL to find the IP address 192.185.17.1 1 the point is unless the DNS server for the domain has both an A Record and a CNAME (alias record) you CANNOT use a partial address such as MysteriousWritings.com, but instead MUST use the full address WWW.MysteriousWritings.comPersonally I seriously doubt that Lukas would have requested an alias allowing a partial address because it would completely eliminate solving one of the clues if indeed each of the stanzas solves one of the three parts to a URL.

I agree with Jenny here. I believe we are initially looking for a website, and then I think we'll need to input a password (key#2) once we arrive at the correct landing page. I've been holding onto a potential solution for the second key. It's only a guess, but it fits perfectly (IMO for now) with the riddle. It's a word, so clearly if we're not supposed to be looking for a word, I'm way off. With this concept of landing page and password, key#2 won't even come into play until we've got a real landing page, whether it's the right one or not - personally, I'd LOVE to land on a real website - just once! - when typing in all my random key#1 guesses!!!!

I know. It must be so frustrating for you. Having played a stormer and worked out the clues in stanza 5 (C4 F5 C6 E6) you must be driven demented trying to make sense of them at this stage, I know I certainly am. Im pretty certain if we can work out what the C4 F5 C6 E6 mean we will easily crack the rest of the URL as we know they will be related to Dearborn (or somewhere within Michigan) and Turkey (.TR) Turkmenistan (Tm) or .XXX and this is why I am almost certain at this stage that the DNS has NOT been set up for partial URL's and that Lukas has set up the websites ROBOT.TXT so that it will not appear in search engine results. The only way of finding the URL and knowing it is the correct one will be by typing in the full web address and actually loading the webpage.. Dont forget I have lists of domains for many zones (.TM .GE .XXX .TK, can get more if I grovel to my friend) and I have searched them thoroughly for potential sites (many many hours of work), but these will be no good whatsoever if there are no external links from, or links from other sites pointing to, the site we are looking for. The webcrawlers and bots used by the search engines are what are used to generate these lists, so a website might exist but will not appears in the domain lists because of a ROBOT.TXT file.

I'm not saying your ideas are not options, but there are other options...and they are just as sound as any other-- at this point. (whether you believe so or not) I think it is important to not to force our ideas onto others.... and to keep our minds open and be respectful of each other.

Sorry was not trying to be forceful or negative, but what I did write does happen to be TRUE, despite what you say. And its an important point. The reason I posted is that someone might well have guessed a partial URL as you have suggested and entered it, but got the 'this page could not be found' error. Had they entered the FULL address they might get the page. Its important that everyone realises that a partial address might be correct but still not work. Using your site as an example had there not been an alias set up on the DNS server simply entering mysteriouswritings.com in a browser would not take you to your site. Your site has been set up with an alias to make it convenient to your subscribers. We dont know that Lukas has done the same, so have to assume he has done nothing it make it easier or more convenient for us. someone might have already guessed a correct partial address, but because they did not enter they FULL address they disregarded what they had found or guessed at as a wrong solution. It would be horrible to find out someone had guessed the correct domain name, but months later find out they were partially right, but all along chasing wild geese instead because they disregarded the correct domain as wrong Im not saying that a partial address wont work for definite, I am saying that we might have to get the full address to make progress With regards to the No theory has been suggested that has a more solid foundation. They might be wrong, but personally I believe they are the best suggestions put forward so far. The problem is without solving stanza 5 we cannot put them to the test.

Sorry for not explaining myself clearly.... The part I was saying that wasn't 'true' or known was the part I indicated in Bold where you say it is known about Dearborn and such...while possible, it isn't known.. And as for the website details... I wasn't commenting on that part. I do keep an open mind though, and appreciate your comments, but it just doesn't feel 'right' yet.... Often times when a 'Riddle' is solved it is like a huge'aha' moment..and all agree on it... I'm not sure we have that yet....HOWEVER, it might not be solved like that and I realize my desire for that unquestionable solution might be hindering me from going all in on what's been suggested so far.

no harm no foul on either side, Jenny. I think everyone is keen to get a solution to this hunt, and we may have differing opinions on the best way to approach it, but the important thing is we all have an open mind to different opinions or approaches.
I have been fortunate enough in my career to learn the basics about how web servers and DNS have to be configured to make websites visible to the internet. I am no expert, I'll admit that. If someone came up with a possible solution that includes pink elephants, AND can provide the logic behind that, then I will certainly give it proper consideration. But without the logic, or the understanding of how these websites and DNS work, we are really swimming against the tide. I have the scary feeling that we will have to consider an IP address solution if we cant solve stanza 5, and that is way beyond my knowledge level
Lukas claims that anyone can solve this riddle no matter what their skill level, but as in every field of work it too easy to dismiss as simple what is obvious and easy to yourself. What may be simple and obvious to Lukas might mean a serious amount of research to those not familiar with music, computers or the internet.
You as a journalist/website host will have a totally different skill set to me. But the more people involved the wider our group skill set becomes and that's what is great about forums until ego's get in the way and each can contribute their knowledge to the problem. So please don't take my posts as dismissive, they certainly were not meant to be, but I can see tricks and methods that could be used to make shortcuts impossible in this hunt.

I've been holding onto a potential solution for the second key. It's only a guess, but it fits perfectly (IMO for now) with the riddle. It's a word, so clearly if we're not supposed to be looking for a word, I'm way off. Hey Elysethecat, does your word have four characters, by any chance?

What if the keys are username and password and and the seventh stanza is the website?
