Just a note to fellow searchers don't assume you know more about searching than I do, and I will not assume I know more than you. I am willing to share some of what I know, but not all I know. Just as you have your secretes not to share so do I. When I return from this my last BOTG I will share What I think is important for those who wish to take it for what it cost them, which is nothing. I have Pulmonary Fibrosis and this may well be my last search, higher altitudes severely effect my ability to absorb oxygen. So I will share information that may assist others to find what I could not.

Richard: everyone wishes you good fortune, but you still come across as new to the Chase by your proclamations. You will learn humility through failure.

Perhaps the first day in high altitude, you should relax and not exert yourself. Take time to climatize.

Richard: everyone wishes you good fortune, but you still come across as new to the Chase by your proclamations. You will learn humility through failure. I never fail, so my humility stays the same. Like Thomas Edison, I never fail I just learn a thousand places the TC is not. I never take so serious an attitude that it cause's me distress. After 7 plus years of BOTG's, I have learned to use each and everyone as an educational experience. I am always a winner. Adjust your attitudes, and you adjust your out look on life. I may come across as new to you, but I will tell you I am confident of winning, I always win. The purpose is to see and enjoy the out doors, not the retrieval of Indulgence. That is the true quest in the Chase, and I succeed every time I walk out the door. When you get a terminal illness, you learn just how precious this time is. Yes I am confident. It's just not for the reasons you think. If I happen to be able to help someone else enjoy this life then so much the better. Yes I think I understand Forrest and his reasoning better than most. You will never know just how much we have in common. I never let anyone's words dissuade me from my goals. When I am gone, no one will remember who I was, but that's OK, I will know I was what I wanted to be. My only regret in life is that my line dies with me, 2000 years of a proud lineage will come to an end. I console myself with the knowledge that there are members in the Home country to carry it on. Me, I've done it tired, and now I am weak. After I rest then I begin a new Chase, yes the winning will continue. I know what waits beyond. Of that I am also confident, for it is no place for the meek. My God wants stout hearted souls, I will not disappoint him.
