Actually, one of the items on the list of things he wrote about is a gigolo, and that could be a hodaddy! Famous New Orleans pimps, anyone? What page of the book is the gigolo reference? It's in Chapter 20. I have the digital version so different page locations.

Perhaps the "Hodaddy tsktsk prettify introfly South Georgia" is a list of words that we have to find synonyms for, and the collection of those synonyms will provide the clue. Similarly, "nadatrace, nadasoda, nadacurl, nadacocoa, beenbitt" could be a hint to construct a list of antonyms to trace, soda, curl and cocoa and put them all together. The book seems to hint at this when Lane says: "I applied the same logic to that clue I had to 'hodaddy tsktsk prettify introfly South Georgia," he said. "Or near the same. Or maybe the reverse."
Another thing. Note that South is capitalized, which it shouldn't be if it were referring to southern Georgia (whether that's in the U.S. or the Republic of Georgia). But there is the island of South Georgia in the southern Atlantic, part of the SGSSI British overseas territory.

That's great! Only problem is that none of Hodaddy, tsktsk, prettify, introfly or South Georgia are in my thesaurus. Or dictionary for that matter.

There's all kinds of things that can be done with the "Hodaddy ... " phrase and somethings look connected in other places in the book.
www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Hodaddy
Based on the "tsktsk", it looks like the "naughty" definition, on the surface.
I had also looked at the South Georgia (near Antarctic) relation.
Although looking at information as in the two examples above, I am focusing on trying to connect information in the book.
For example, we could say "nadatrace" = a copy, or a trail, but using the book, we might say "Buffalo" (from the phrase "Buffalo Trace").
nadasoda could be "cola", as in Pensacola, but can we derive that from the book.
But, I think the "nada" sequence can mean something entirely different.

Going with Astree's idea..
cocoa - cayenne chocolate mentioned on the first page? curl - the lip of the boulder eating tree in the poem 'curls' /judy's pretty curls mentioned in the book soda - bubbly? champagne? Lido Bay?
To me, the trace connection with Buffalo Trace seems likely since its repeated throughout the book so frequently.

Wait, if a hodaddy is a 'faker' as urban dictionary says.. could the hodaddy be referring to the man who faked being Houdini that Nels wrote about for his freelance writing career?

There's probably some connections that can be made using information from the book for these words.

Synonym example:
Hodaddy: poseur Tsktsk: scold Prettify: spruce or spiff up Introfly: an app South Georgia: island
I think you're right that 'nadatrace' is connected to Buffalo Trace somehow. I assume everyone noted the similarity between Qigong and Quarry Girl. I didn't see anyone mention the Bourbon Sidecar anagrams: "a ribbon scoured" = "a bronco bruised" Wine Tennis also anagrams to "Ten Winnies", not that that's very helpful

"trail" would also work for "nadatrace" .... Buffalo Trace and "trailed" are related on p. 27

Any thoughts on "beenbitt"? I keep thinking it's a key on how to solve it because of how different it is from the rest, but can't come up with anything.
There is a Natchez Trace trail that I have been looking into. I think it's just more of me grasping but I'll keep it in my notes.

Not sure if anyone had played enough with the words, but out of Hodaddy tsktsk prettify introfly South Georgia, I took the first 2 letters from the first 4 words, then the capitalized letters from South Georgia and got Hot Springs.....
