We are receiving image quality concerns over a few components in the image. The upper left numbers are as follows:
715 415 2314 89 1212
Blue Letters:
F YHSY IR XNAG DJZ WIXW
Orange berries Roman numerals:
II V II II

If you rotate the image so that the upper right corner is on the bottom, the shape above the diagonal line in the middle definitely looks like Virginia.

The green on the bottom right could be Nevada.

Can Nikolas say why he chose to use the pen name, "Adohi Awi"? Yes, it was his Cherokee name....but as you will noticed he changed it... only in case it would been confusing...

I know I'm way behind but I did get one part of a puzzle solved - I know it takes solving one to solve another so I really don't know what I solved yet. lol.

I've been so busy lately (50 days, 25,000 miles traveled, plus I moved out of my house), I haven't had much time to do any puzzling for fun, so I'm just now jumping into the Tone hunt. I solved the Roman numerals within a few minutes and I'm totally sucked in! I've been at it for about 10 minutes, I'm sorry to have missed the first hunt, but this looks like a lot of fun and I hope to take a few hours this evening and give it a go. Has anyone made decent headway in the first 4 days since the hunt has gone live?

When you say you solved the Roman numerals, do you mean the ones at the bottom or the ones in the berries? Those berries are driving me crazy. I know it is probably super easy. Just curious.

So, jewelie, does that mean you've solved the ones at the bottom? They're not obvious to me at all!

I solved the Roman numerals along the bottom, not the ones on the berries. I think I was just in the right headspace at that moment; I took one look at the numerals and it clicked. Tonight I had some time to play around and solved the numbers in the top left corner and worked on the color blocks. I have a theory about the matchsticks but haven't solved anything else as of yet. I wish I had more free time - I even printed out a lousy copy and pulled it out for two minutes while I stood in line at the grocery store! Hopefully tomorrow I can take a few hours - I have a five-hour drive, but I'm the driver, so I won't be looking at anything but the road! This is certainly a fun and well-crafted hunt!!!!
