FF Question of the Day: Does the following FQ hint to 'what' the home of Brown might be? Is it an old abandoned cabin somewhere....? What do you think? From the Q:-- I found mine under the floor boards of a long-ago abandoned log cabin within walking distance of the Gallatin River in Montana. I carry it sometimes myself.f mysteriouswritings.com/slicks-featured-question-with-forrest/

That looks like a pebble, but at 2.5 " it's pretty big.What prompts you to think it's related to Brown? Is it because a cabin was a home or something else?

I think he is referring to an actual thing that is properly named Brown, or something that is referred to properly as Brown. In example UPS is referred to as Brown. I don't believe he is talking about the color brown as in a brown house or brown cabin, unless that cabin is known as Brown's Cabin.

God is a person. Personal names are used in reference to Him.

God is a person. Personal names are used in reference to Him. In regards to “B” in brown? You’re saying because the B is there, it must be referring to a person?

What I'm saying is (forgive me if this doesn't come out right) read the Bible to be wise. It is the light to direct you, the traveler's map, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword and the Christian's charter. These are not my words but copied from BBN website.
The last month or so has been a reawakening for me not just reading the Bible but studying it as well. The line - home of Brown - makes more sense using the Bible.

I will *not* read the bible (deliberately lower case) for the umpteenth time, because it has absolutely nothing to do with the Chase. Forrest is pretty clear about what constitutes his spirituality, and I'm sorry: the King James bible ain't what he's talking about (or choose your preferred tome). Bible-thumpers would be better served interpreting his poem from a geographic standpoint.

Try to be more on topic.

. “What have I done to displease you?” Thats numbers 11:11, reminds me of line 1, the beginning of the poem. And, of the new and old, Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 both start with “in the beginning”. So, sort of like the TS Elliot quote Forrest used.
his Little Gidding is quite something, i dont fully understand it. But i think forrest used a simpler application as relates to this hunt, of the quoted 4 lines.
so, as to beginnings and ends, beginning where warm waters halt, there is something a few may find interesting - the first letters acrostic of those four TS Elliot lines is WAWA. It works at several levels.
i think the poem is packed with information and references, at least one aside to the Bible, but not necessary to a core solve.
nps, this is my 613 post, thats 3:16 backwards,
========
i dont think the home of Brown is a thing, like a cabin, but a place. I think the poem has enough information to infer what kind of place, in a deductive and inductive way, and that other external information is distracting.

I think the poem is self explanatory. You begin at warm waters halt and take it in the canyon down. Down is a southern direction and also below. This means WWW halt is north. If you are in a canyon, you have things above you and when you put in below Brown, you also have things above you. This connects canyon and Brown because of the words "down & below" which are analogies.
