I'm relatively new to chase. Looking at other websites related to the search, it seems as if many believe the lead searcher is close and that this spring it will be over. Thoughts?

The finding of a clue, interpretation of the clue, and following the directions to the next clue can not be put to a timeline, imo. But Forrest himself had a gut feeling it would be found summer 2018. So my thought is "maybe, maybe not".

IMO it doesn't matter if there is or isn't a lead searcher. It should not change your course. All that speculation is a huge waste of energy which could be put to better use.

It will be over when it is over. Otherwise 'How deep is a hole?" There's that saying it's not over until the fat lady sings..... I hope Forrest doesn't ever write a Scrapbook about some larger sized woman singing..... that would get searchers going... I am hoping he does a Scrap Book on his Restoration of a T28-C he rescued from the plane graveyard. I think that would be very interesting to hear. It would also be nice to hear about his experience with the Sabre Jets he flew in the 50's. |

Gut feeling seems to have gone missing. Early searchers came close, can't be done on spring break, can be done in a month in good weather. Current mythical one is stuck, and has been for months. If s/he confided, who's to know if helper searcher can finish, if nay, s/he will be stuck with a blabber helper. That sounds messy.OR s/he needs to clean up what they already searched, which can be very time consuming. It's not that hard to figure out, be a jet fighter and a native American mystic and yull have a merry xmas! make sense? No. |
