“Not every amateur archaeologist can boast of having an important collection of 16th century Spanish goat droppings.”
Forrest is so funny.

So for example, looking at the image with the Thoughts to (2?) Ponder
Point 1 ... “one” “thirty two” .... this is the poem page

Who is the artist Barton Wright?
One in Thirtytwo Pondering the 3 questions my answers would be. #1 seed storage for future food. #2 the bowl was used to dip the seed out. #3 there was a drought and a poor harvest and no food left.

a·ha mo·ment So when the warm Waters halted and the crops failed,( say 1, 2, possibly 3 years of drought, I'm packing north) where did they go? It had to be north! In search of greener pastures. Could this be it? Did Mr.Fenn follow the group throughout time? Can he read the writing on the wall? Of course they would leave maps for returning descendents. Think about a mother and father needing to pack up shop and move, they have to leave a direction for sons and daughters nieces and nephews cousins. perhaps Forrest just gave everybody where warm Waters halt, yes the treasure is at least 8.25 miles north of Santa Fe but that doesn't mean warm Waters halt is, does it?

Holy smokes! Why did anyone in time ever pack-up and leave a beloved dwelling? Home is our sacred place, memories and blood sweat and tears. We have to be forced out by tyranny or mother nature to leave. Why leave rotting dried out seed? Because they we're the die hard! Waiting patiently for the rain to return. Why leave the dipping bowl? Not to bring the spirit curse along the new journey.

Now if you want to marry this to the map and poem use TAI from Mountain you have the goat dung.
Read the line - Put in below the home of Brown and continue reading right to the map and what do you see? tai
If you want to start at the beginning and read - Begin it where warm waters halt and continue reading to the right and now you have MOU
If you take MOU in the box canyon down now you have MOU Box which is a warm water fishing area at and around the Timor Sea.
Is solving the poem as simple as this? Who knows...
