Hi all......
Ive already been blackballed by a couple of Milwaukee Secret forums.
Terrible about a subculture like this.... no one really wants to solve it.
Where to begin?
Ok. Byron WANTED THE TREASURES FOUND.
People over analyzing the clues make me want to jump off a cliff.
Yes..... Milwaukee is a “gimme”, due to the fact that he puts the searcher in the “kill zone” with the 92 steps....no where else does he give such a specific clue. Folks....when you stand at the bottom of the stairs the Davinci Code Music should start because you are about to solve the treasure. Well, sorry folks, Ive solved it.
To ALL searchers.....Byron puts you in a city, then narrows it to an area (always always a park by the water) then takes you on the path. So sit back and here we go.......
Disclaimer: It doesn't matter if we are correct about the early verses, he puts you at the grand staircase and thats where he kind of makes it easy. Ok, no fighting.....here we go:
Stories of Mitchell....
I dont care what building this is, City Hall? Anyone, anyone who travels and sees Mitchell knows reflexively, Milwaukee. Byrons fist easy clue.
As you walk the to the beating world.....
Understand he was in a rent a car driving down the lakefront with people wearing walk-mans and head phones.
Who has their corporate HQ in MLWK since 1975?
Voss Headphones! (Thank you, Im taking a bow lol)
A distance in time....
I haven't a clue, I like the person who said AU for astronomical units or symbol for Gold. (Again, he takes you to the staircase, you don’t need to solved these)
From three who lived there.....
Solved this last night via Wikipedia. “Who lived there”
Do you know that three distinct tribes of Indians lived in Milwaukee?
So famous were the three tribes they formed the Council of Three Fires to represent the three tribes. Can you see Byron at the library reading an encyclopedia and this would be in the first chapter!!!! (Taking a bow)
Woman with harpsichord, silently playing....
Its the statue in Marquette Park. Playing silently, does a stone statue make any sound? Nope, hence playing silently.
Step on nature....
There is a nature trail going between the lake and the woods, a nature trail, walking on the path would be “stepping on nature”. (Big bow!)
Ascend the 92 steps....
The grand staircase
Walk past the compass....
On the bottom of the stairs is a lamp post with a Masonic Compass, or the two rulers inverted. When you get to the top of the steps, walking north would have you going right past the lamp post onto the bridge.
This is where I wanna jump off that bridge! Everyone including Josh Gates goes left towards the lighthouse.....why? Lighthouse is NOT a synonym for compass!!!! Compass: the dial instrument that a Boy Scout carries or the Mason Builders Instrument! There is a pic of the builders instrument on the bottom lamp post.... does any think to themselves, one and one does equal two??? Ugh! Soooooo frustrating. Someone will say, “why didn't Byron just have a person walk across the grass to the wellhead and millstone cover”? Because you'd have to cross a busy street and his wife said he didn't want anyone carrying a shovel and getting hit by a car!
At the foot of the culvert.....
You know that bridge you cross to walk past the compass? There is a culvert or channel underneath. Ya, this is a real spell binder set of clues!
Below the bridge......
Um, yes, I went down to the culvert and Im under the bridge.
100 paces SE.....
I walked 100 paces SE, and it puts me right at the wellhead, a single tree and the millstone sewer cover. (Yawn.....)
Right now, people walked over eight blocks to the south to go to the light house!!! Do you think BP walked a half mile with a shovel and casque or did he take the quick route to the north?
Letter from the country.....
You know, letter doesn't always mean something you mail! The GirlScouts put trail markers up in the early 80’s. Did he see one with the “G” for Germany/GirlScouts? Does it matter? He has you at the well head! Don't over analyze!!
Of wonder stone hearth.....
Okay, this is my baby!!! Wonderstone.....is a volcanic stone. When I dug at the well head, there is black shinny volcanic looking stone everywhere!! Also wonderstone is pretty multi colored stone, ALSO FOUND AT THE WELL HEAD!
Wonderstone: in European folklore, when someone finds a wonderstone they will receive all the answer in life, their life will make sense, they will find all the answers they search for.
Sounds like a person finally finding a treasure! Way to go Byron!!! This one stumped everyone but me! Thank you Google!
Hearth......
The hearth is the top of a fireplace. Period! Byron placed volcanic rock over the casque hence Wonderstone (volcanic rock) on top of (hearth) the casque! Ive dug there ten times, volcanic looking rock everywhere!
A proud tall fifth....
Have ya all seen the old photos of the well head with one single tall tree next to it???! Hello?? Winner winner chicken dinner!!!
Okay.... the painting.
There is a candy cane shaped tree in the cape. That IS identical to the candy cane shaped ventilation shaft next to the well head! Look at the old picture people!
Also, there is the actual wellhead in the cape in the arm!! Lighten the painting in photoshop! AND two little rock markers behind the wellhead in the cape, look at an old photo.... you’ll see two little rock markers in the back ground!!!
The other sleeve, zoom in, its the reverse outline of the Locust Street Ravine street on a map!!! Locust!!! Like the faint locust in the painting?!!! Someone thinks its a kidney. Jesus H, you people are coo coo for coa coa puffs! No hocus pocus! Just use common sense!
Oh..... to the “lighthouse” nutcases who still believe its there. TELL ME WHERE A LOCUST PLAYS IN YOUR SOLUTION?
Mine? Oh, the well head, vent shaft, 100 paces is on LOCUST RAVINE DRIVE!!! (Cue Ace Ventura gyrations when he solved the mystery, lol)
Whats the problem? Im old and tired and get tired easily digging and there is a new well head! Yep..... so good luck and don't over think ANY of these verses. Some words have double meaning but that is that. And the people who have this treasure at a lion statue or outside a resturant need psychological help.....its called Cognitive Dissonance. Read up on it....
