All but two of the stage-two kodewords have been reported discovered now, though not all by one single person or team.

Only ONE stage-two kodeword remains undiscovered! We're coming down the home stretch. What person, people, or team will figure out how to get the final kodeword and claim Prize #1 (and maybe Prize #2 at the same time too!)?
The next KA post is coming on Friday 1/17. Sorry MIT Mystery Hunters...

Question: How many KK participants will be competing in the MIT Mystery Hunt?
Should I consider releasing the next KA post this Friday on 1/10 so it does not coincide with the MIT hunt?
I don't want MIT hunters to be at a fundamental disadvantage in KK. Let me know your thoughts either way.
Edit: I just put a poll on the KK facebook page asking if the next KA post should be 1/10 or 1/17. If you have a strong opinion either way, please let me know in whatever way is convenient for you.

I'm not part of the MIT puzzle hunt crowd, but I'll put my opinion out there anyway. I'd rather the klues be delayed until after their hunt ends rather than pushing the release sooner, more like Jan.24th instead. We all have our own external lives, and while their activity does have value, it gives them no more or less advantage to wait an extra week than it would for someone scheduling a business presentation or getting married or dealing with health issues. While there are players who are idle for the week leading up to the hunt, I imagine there are others who are already swamped with the preparation for the event, getting their own puzzles ready and putting assets into place, while others could be making travel plans. This challenge is supposed to be running for another eleven months, so why the rush to get everyone at the same endgame point so fast? Of course, that's just my viewpoint. I haven't heard from anyone else.

Hints around every 1-2 weeks seemed to be about the average request so I'm trying to stick to that in general. For the record, the challenge is supposed to run from somewhere between 1 day and 1 year. IMHO, if it only lasted a day then I probably did something wrong, and similarly if it lasts a full year then I probably did something wrong too. With most of the kodewords discovered now by at least one participant/team, I'm guessing it won't still be unsolved next November. I'm trying to find a balance between pushing things along too fast and letting things drag on too slowly.
