Yeah, I came away feeling, even if I was in the right spot, there are just so many places to hide it and that makes it almost impossible to find until the video comes out. And if it's even a little buried in the ground, even if you somehow get the right coordinates, there's absolutely no way it will be found, IMO.
I think I probably will just wait for the video to be released before I go searching again.

Ok, y'all are saying, you found the tree, then 840 paces from there you found the yellow brick road. Then rocks in the way and 190 pace from there you found a cliff. Wow.
WHAT was your answer to the beenbitt clue?

Oh I see. I was in Arkansas. It is kind of remarkable how many places in the county can fit so many details. When pete said there are multiple solves and deliberate red herrings, I wonder if he went through the trouble of actually going to other places, counting off paces and such and putting nothing there. When I left, I didn't have any closure and couldn't get the thought out of my mind that someone could have just stumbled across it and took it not knowing what it was. But it does make me feel a little better knowing that apparently there are many of these places. If pete will be willing to pony up any information soon, I would love to know if this was deliberate. Arkansas huh? That's my top spot. I have had many clues that lead to one place there, but I still feel like I'm missing one thing to pull the trigger and go. The good thing is I'm only 5 hours away from there.

If anyone would like me to check a location in Arkansas for them, I can. I live in central Arkansas. My solution took me to New York City. I drove there last month, on a whirl-wind hunt. Obviously, I didn't find the treasure, but I did find a rock eating tree, trails that went the correct distances, a trail that went over 100 feet of flat rock, and a mini-cliff, about 20 feet high. I sure wish it was in Arkansas.

I was at a conference in Dallas last week and at a conference this week in San Antonio. I don't see many connections to these cities, but I still keeping trying to see if I can make them work.

I live and work in Dallas. If anybody finds a solution I feel is legitimate around DFW (and that is a big if at this point), I will gladly go look for you, and the treasure winnings are 100% yours if my kids and I find it (I have partners now, so I can't take any of the money if it's not my solve or my partners' solve). For what it's worth, I have floated down a river of pee here in Texas about two hours south (Guadalupe river), another town has a river to float also (Gruene river - Gru-worthy), NASA is here (Houston, we have a problem), Urban Cowboy was shot close to Houston, also Texas is one of the four places generally known for barbecue (Kansas City, North Carolina, Memphis, and Texas), and there are many more throughout the book mentioned in previous posts here. I remain skeptical, but maybe that just means that I was over-thinking it and the joke is on me.

Don't forget about the out and back that follows the river in San Antonio with a park about 9 miles in.

TMP. I have a guy checking in NYC, what part of NYC are you near. I live closest to Queens, but I'm only a 30 min train ride from downtown manhattan. I am in the same position as minotaurmoreno in that I have a partner for the hunt.

The same Thing mean different things to different people. IE: Are you sure of the direction of that last 190 paces. You assume it's forward, but it could be back towards the direction they came from.....
