Since June of 2013!! a small rock with CQ details for claiming the 200 dollar prize of the CustardQuest.com treasure hunts has remained hidden. It's time to find this thing! Personally, I like Morristown NJ as a general location. Reasons- A Warrior Dash took place here and this type of competition is mentioned in the text. This, along with other connections that seem to indicate New Jersey, seem to provide a 'general area'. FosterFields (living historical farm) is in Morristown. Within the story is an 'imaginary friend' of the character 'LeeAnn'. We have hints to rhymes, and so I like the connection that one of LeeAnn Rimes popular songs was Blue. There was a popular kids show called Foster's Home of Imaginary Friends, and the main 'imaginary friend' of this 'foster home' was named BLUE. Blue (imaginary friend) is linked to LeeAnn then in the story too...and so the location. There are hints to Thomas Paine. Burnham Park in Morristown is one of only two parks with a statue of him. Fort Nonsense is also in Morristown, and the story talks about being confused and a Fort. If you look into how the other hunts are solved, you would notice how words from the text are taken out and can hint to the area too. HILL and CREST are two words in relative close position of the text, and that is a name of the street between Burnham Park and Fort Nonsense. A fifth clue to maybe Morristown is the fact in the story, he didn't 'SPEED WELL' over a pile of mulch. There is a 'Speed Well' Park in Morristown. AND this location had a 'wedding gown display' and 'the ship Savannah (Devil went down to Georgia)....both wedding and maybe Georgia are hinted at (the Huff home was there). I visited SpeedWell, but the historical part is closed during the winter season, so I'm not thinking it can be there. However, what I'm considering with these 5 locations that to me seem hinted at in the text, is maybe the center point provides a location. In the text there is mention also of 5 times a lot....so can these 5 places hint to a location?

Hello All! I agree with Jenny! Let's get this solved!
I recently wrote to Custard to find out if his Custard Quest IV was still active, and if the stone was still out there. I also asked him if he was aware of Jenny's MW site, as when his hunts came out, he often came to visit us on one of the other treasure hunting sites. He wrote back today, and this is what Custard had to say:
Hi, GeneticBlend! Ah, yes, my old pals at Tweleve. I remember you. I am still in 6th grade and still mowing lawns to make money to payoff the CustardQuest rewards. It's hard to believe it's been four years. Time has sorta stood still for me, I guess.
As far as I know, the last CQ stone is still out there. It was meant to be trickier than the first three, and I guess I succeeded. I've thought about giving hints over the years, but never followed through. The only hint I will give, and maybe I'll put it on Tweleve, is ... CQIV is different than the others.
I must stop - I've already said too much...
I was aware of the MW website. I believe she reached out to me before she wrote one of the CQ stories. There are also some vblogs on youtube by cowlazars, who emailed me last week. He mentioned CQ in one of his youtube vblogs and wanted to know about future CQs.
I'd love to do another CQ. In fact, as I hinted about a while ago, there is another stone already out there in the universe. I just have never written the investigative notes for it. If you find that one, you are a master CQer, I guess. Life has sorta gotten more complicated since the first CQs were written. Let's just say I've taken on a number of babysitting jobs since then, and that has put a serious premium on my time to write. But I do intend to write CQV.
Thanks for writing, GB. I will give some serious thought to CQV. It would probably come out via Facebook or a new website. The tech behind the current website is outdated.
Thanks again, and happy hunting!
Your pal,
Custard

Yes, I remember Johnstons' from the story. That is a strange website. It almost looks fake. Is it fake? Very weird.

Very weird. I asked Custard, but he wouldn't say if this website was related to the search. It wants you to look at tickets. Tickets say Oklahoma. But...no actual contact info is listed.

I think this line is important...
"Everything seemed turned upside down, which I think made my brain view all of the clues from a different perspective."
Possibly, some words or numbers need turned upside down in order to make other letters/words/etc.

Ok. So on the ticket, there's transaction numbers. Each of those is linked to a location, according to data.netzsin.us/20150927.txtI'm focusing on the website for that Diner, bc #1 this diner does not exist. #2 it's an online clue, which is different than the past quests. #3 it even has 5 tickets..... Hmmm

Also, 5 menu items each of appetizers, main course, kids, and drinks. With 5 different pictures of foods up top. Every dead link had a colon ; as the link text, like a wink. Then if you google Kayla (website name) Johnston in OK city (tickets), the girl that comes up has LeeAnne as her middle name.
Riiiiiight??

Lots of typos in the menu- and All the typos are using/omitting letters "A, E, F, R, S". 5 letters, which can be rearranged to form the word "farse" (farce), like haha, joke website! Or "safer"?
Riiiiiight??

I have been working on this for a few years my thoughts are its possibly in North Carolina near Nags Head. (Mud) is mentioned several times, (Grave Digger) the monster truck is located there, they have their own diner on the property too. The owner of it all is Dennis Anderson, he has a son that drives monster trucks as well his name is Adam...officer Adams from the story maybe. There are 2 Grave Digger sites close together there, one is an all out mud running place for racing and one has a store/gift shop, monster truck rides, the diner, and other things geared toward kids. The sign above the entrance to the gift shop which is officially named Grave Diggers Dungeon is made to look like blood running down, (like blood boiling over the steps inside the devils home)from the story. (Sparklies) mentioned a lot in story I came up with 2 theories on this 1. Spark Lies.... best selling "fiction" romance novels by author Nicholas "Sparks" who lives/lived in North Carolina. In the gift shop there are lots of metal diamond plated things 1 being a throne with pointy tips it sits on the left when you first walk thru the door...hence a high chair tipped over in the story. Strange little Leanns little Bigfoot (Bigfoot is a well known monster truck) Sand mentioned in the story ...the beach is near by. Gleaming trophy's and awards are all over the walls in Diggers dungeon. There are a few other things I have made connections to there as well but just cant seem to come up with an exact spot. There are many YouTube videos you can watch showing Diggers Dungeon the parks and diner. Never been a daring lot from the story.... Dare is a county in NC is close to Grave Digger. Triangle base for the tiara www.cardcow.com/images/set323/card00238_fr.jpg

I have read this CQ story over and over. I see some words like decal and black and white which I believe point to the stone's location. The numbers listed in the story I can't pinpoint how to use them. This CQ IV doesn't have enough unique "words" to indicate a location for me.
