MW comments about the Sacred Scarab

Hi all, I made a comment on a 'FB Page' concerning the Sacred Scarab and wanted to share it here as well.

Thanks all for participating. MW loves 'treasure hunts' (as the site demonstrates) and is glad to offer the MW hunts. The Sacred Scarab has only been out since Dec. 21st, and some people have made progress. The previous MW hunts, which were all solved within days or weeks of release, consisted of more 'known ciphers and codes'. Those in the field of armchair treasure hunting easily solved them because of such. This one however, follows more of the Forrest Fenn approach: Imagination is more important than knowlege. That is the reason some may find it more challenging compared to the others....it is different than the others, but I believe just as simple. MW's goal is to create opportunity for all to win, regardless of knowledge or experience in 'deciphering'. Someone could pick this most recent hunt up and solve it quickly (or it might take some time- but geesh its only been out a week or two...lol... its a treasure hunt). Next clue for The Sacred Scarab puzzle to be released Thursday, March 1st!

Please know the clues are not needed, however. Everything, like the previous MW hunts, which were successfully solved and their prizes rewarded (totaling $1250), is on the piece of parchment (PDF) originally provided.

As mentioned above, it requires more imagination than expertise in codebreaking!
