Heidini?! You're joking, right? You have to have heard of Kit Williams' Masquerade. I've mentioned it here at least a dozen times in the last couple years, and made it clear that solving WWWH depends on deciphering a variant of the final solution technique that Kit used.

Unfortunately I’m not kidding. I must’ve missed it. You must think I’m a dork. But please forgive me because my accident I had early in 2016 made me really distracted from a lot of stuff.

Hi Heidini: sorry to hear about your 2016 mishap (?) No sweat on Masquerade--it's impossible to keep track of all the posts bouncing around on the blogs. I keep up on Dal's pretty well; here, so-so. But Masquerade is a must-know. It was the first armchair treasure hunt, and in my opinion Forrest borrowed from it.

I was watching expedition unknown with Josh gates and they had another story on there about a book that had images and that people had to decipher it. I can’t remember what the name of it right this second but it reminded me a lot of people matching up pictures in Forrest’s book and trying to match it up with real life. I think it was “the secret?”

You quoted me instead of Zaphod. Requote him so he’ll get it in his notifications.

ChaserMike: Kit used an acrostic for the final solution. I believe Forrest used a variant of this system for secreting his "word that is key."

He did, Heidini, but that isn't it. Contentment isn't a word that only a few searchers are in tight focus with (nor is it a word that can be extracted from the poem without jumping through enormous hoops).

I just want to say that I really appreciate this post - much as I appreciated all of Oh!'s. I've always thought that it would take a group of searchers to finally solve it, and I still do. There are a lot of good ideas out there - and I still don't rule anything at all out - no matter what my current thinking on it's location might be. nknown may be right, Oh! may also still be right, but my personal opinion, at least at the moment, is that many people have small pieces of the puzzle, but can't complete it because they don't want to team up or share. That said, I still think that my blaze is the best one in the chase so far.
