. As previously mentioned, the sad watch hands point to letters. DAD ADD the time looks like 4:05:02 tome When you ADD these numbers, you get 11, the page number (note the tri ad just below) Is that all there is to it? (by the way, ralph, speaking of IT and 4:05... p. 45 shows to the highest PI-T, letter colors... oh, the numerical value of PIT=45) The small hands both pass through the VI before hitting the KM. =================== "A triad uses colors at the points of an equilateral triangle (three colors spaced equally on the color wheel). These are sometimes called balanced colors. An example of a triadic scheme could be red, blue, and yellow; green, orange, and purple, etc." www.enchantedlearning.com/art/Colormixing.shtmlwww.enchantedlearning.com/art/Colormixing.shtml

. So in addition to the neasure from the gold piano keys, it looks like the measure of 4:05:02 ccould also be referring to the gold watch, just to tgevright of MEASURE. the hands are at 90 deg ( lat / long ? ).
The grid contains pairs (:02) in spaces 4 and 5. The gold letters give AT.
To the right of that, the gold contour map has T I S L... combining ... ITS AT L / AT SLIT, etc the blue looks like a slit

Has anyone had any luck finding out what area is depicted in the very center map section on the very center of the page? It’s in the triangle with the red eye. It has a POI marker, an 8, and a mysterious yellow dot that seems to be dead center on the page. It’s placement and obscurity make me think it’s important. All the other sections of map I’ve been able to pinpoint, but not that one. Anyone found that spot on a map yet?

I assume you mean the green section with the dotted lines because that has the 8 and is the only POI on that page. I'm not sure where it is, but I've thought it is either the Village Green or the athletic fields in Bar Harbor. Or maybe the golf course? Those are just guesses - the 8 kind of throws me. Are there sports fields that have that number on them? I don't know what you mean by a mysterious yellow dot in the center. I have two books and I don't have any yellow dot in that green wedge. There is a yellow wedge below it, and there is an orange dotted line that goes the length of the red eye triangle. Dead center of the page is the Gemini twin to the left. To the left of him is is a yellow circle with the Gemini symbol in it. But these are the only yellow things I see near the green wedge.

My image has a small yellow dot on that map piece. Do other people have that yellow dot in theirs???

Yes, I have the small yellow dot. Always thought it might be a croquet ball but I don't know about the 8. I've checked every sport that I can think of to see if fields are marked off in 8' sections, but couldn't find anything that made any sense.

I do not have a yellow dot on the green section of map with the “8” and the POI symbol. I have 3 dotted white lines and 4 dotted white lines. A white “8” and a red POI symbol. Complete with two large orange dotted lines that continue off the section.

No yellow dot for me either. I assume it is a printing anomaly.
Related, does anyone know what the small topographic map at the tip of that triangle refers to?

. I thought possibly the 1+5 dashed lines worked like this
E+Y E K E Y
based on the image of EYE and KEY. Y E K E Y is reflective and “ an EYE reflects”
Maybe EYE <> I and I is the 8th letter in alphabet so 8 would be a hint.
also “a measure of gold” and the gold KEY is next to word “gold”

I remember some discussion about the yellow ball several years ago on one of the sites. If all of us do not have it, then it makes me wonder what else is not consistent with the books. I have spent considerable time looking for something that makes that green area work, and it always included that yellow ball. Now, I am wondering about a lot of the lettering in the borders that look yellow instead of white. Maybe I should quit working on them, also.

I have the yellow dot too. It looks deliberate to me, but can't be if not everyone has it.I also have it elsewhere but much less defined, for example where the ocean meet the arrow at the top (see attached).

While I'm making little screen shots, does anyone know what the constellation is at the top right? I know there have been discussions before on tweleve but none of those answers seem to match. Everyone ignores the extra little line at the right. I can't find any constellation that matches this. The sweeping line that comes back into view under it might be part of it too.

Here is a picture of my book that does not show the yellow dot. I do, however, have the yellow dot above the arrow shown in your other screenshot.

Okay I surely don’t have the yellow dot.
That’s concerning since I spend my time on tiny details like this one lol.
I should mention on this page the VANISHING STAR in the bottom right of the page. HIDDEN AWAY. Why erase a corner star?
Also the constellation I always thought was the “great square of Pegasus”.
Thoughts? Mostly on the star! Lol
ALSO! The “key wedges” top left and bottom right. They all have an eye, a key, the bubbles and something about NORUMBEGA mountain on them. The base of those two triangles highlite the border words “for the” “gold”. (?)

Oh, I see what you mean about the vanishing corner star! I never noticed that before. So he painted it in one place and then moved it. Well, that seems to indicate the drawing lines between stars (or folding the page) is supposed to intersect something. Interesting.
I'm glad I know that the dot isn't visible to all. It probably means the dotted lines aren't either (such as on the Fop page) and are probably a printer error. I've also noticed yellow dots on the map page that I will now ignore.
I don't see how that can be Pegasus. I looked it up and it has two lines going off one of the corner stars. The one on p 11 doesn't.
