Interesting goldhunter.... I'll look for that line....
speaking of 'line' though...lol... there is the plumbline in this picture... If you extend it up, it cuts the date/year of 1957 right perfectly in half. So it might not be so much the 'year' but the two numbers 19 and 57 which are important. And of course we see these in the Squares.
One thing I noticed on this page was that if you drew a line from the point of interest symbol on the book to the tip of the plumb, the letters O and P are given. Then if you draw a line with the plumb, the T is pinpointed-- to spell TOP.
I feel NORTH is important and might TOP refer to North? I realize it might not be, and TOP could be just a coincidental find too. Something to keep in mind.
Circle the Globe could also refer to the globe in the picture. There are two hoops around it (part of the globe frame I guess). The red bookmark is right behind 52 on one of the hoops. The other hoop intersects with that one at 10. So maybe those two numbers are significant. Also, I don't think anyone mentioned this, but the orange book, The Lake in the Woods, could be referring to Lake Wood which is in Acadia. Also, I was just talking to my brother this weekend. He just vacationed in Acadia a few weeks ago. He happened to mention there is a Dorr Mountain (Open the Door?)

George Dorr is considered the father of Acadia. He had a home called Old Farm on Compass Harbor. It is now just ruins a short hike into the woods near the coast. He had a 'natural' swimming pool made along the shoreline and you can still see the rocks. I guess he swam there every morning, even in the winter! He built Sieur De Monts Spring where there is a memorial to him. His name pops up all over the island, so there are a lot of references to him. He was also instrumental in renaming Green Mountain to Cadillac Mountain. Open the Dorr is a good possibility, but where exactly?!
