I think I've exhausted the possibilities on this building! But at the end of the story, as the dad goes to the bottom of the stairs to find the boys, I'm going to say the bottom of the steps at the side door of the London Film School in Shelton Street. Cant see the location on google maps though as theres too many vans in the way! Oh well that's me done for now.
Please may I submit three answers this week. I think you hide the token at the base of a plane tree in Canton Street, London E14. Two trees seem possible, either the one at approx. lat/long 51.512176, -0.024256 or the tree at 51.512160, -0.024474.
If the above is not correct, how about on a gravestone in the churchyard of St Anne’s Church, Limehouse? The Jesus statue on the war memorial is pointing towards the churchyard wall and I can see from google maps that there are some gravestones along that wall. So if I visited there I’d check a few graves near the location pointed to by Jesus, if this is correct I suspect the name on one of these gravestones would link with a theme in the Oracle book.
It's in the ruins of The old mortuary/nature school in the grounds of St George in the East church. Not sure if this would be specific enough. In the doorway? Under the old narrow windows at the end? Not sure how I'd go above and beyond to get this. In the rafters of what's left of the roof?
I might be reading words where there are none, but do the words 'manhole by ruins' mean anything? Is it the manhole by the mortuary ruins at St George in the East church? As theres two manholes here, Probably the one in the grass at the right hand corner of the building as you stand facing the nature school sign, rather than the one on the path?

I think you hid the token in York Square Gardens, Limehouse, London. The exact location would have been the centre point of the garden. i.e. if a cross was made from the corners of the square I would search at the intersection of the two lines.
If this is not correct, there appear to be 3 plane trees on the perimeter of the garden. I'd check the base of all three plane trees.
