It's always kind of grated at me that I haven't been able to figure out the Silverware picture in SB107.....
In the first picture, I found 17 on the phone and 43 letters in the note....I'm pretty sure that most, if not all of Oh!'s numbers are in the SB. Somewhere I have a decent explanation for the envelope and $5 bill - but that darned silverware pic...Ugh.
If anyone has a good explanation for that, I'd love to hear it. It's something that lingers in the back of my mind that I can't shake - and I keep coming back to it for some reason.
If you don't want to share publicly, but are willing to tell me the explanation via PM, I'd appreciate it.

CJ: my main takeaway is that all the pictures in SB 107 are an OCD person's nightmare: tangled phone cord, haphazard flatware drawer, cap off the pen, crooked stamp, and a $5 bill with a folded corner. I think the biggest hints in this Scrapbook are none of these things.

I'm not so sure....it seems odd that the phone clock totals 17 and the note totals 43....Just thinking that there are other hidden meanings in there.

Just some thoughts.
11-16 is the date on the phone (Peggy's bday). Or are my eyes bad. 2:39 pm?
Untangle the line. Reverse the silverware. Secret thought when Frosty was backing-up like a garbage truck. Reverse. FF pulling Catcher out of the trash (thrown on Time magazine.)

I have look at the $5 bill it seems strange that the $5 bill is in triangle If I lay my solve out then have a triangle shape where I think the TC lays have my starting point have the many that's been within 500ft and the 200ft his is how O come you in a triangle.

First of all, let me give kudos to robjohnson for being on the right track. I had 10 things from this SB for a long time. All key hints. But I've added a few things. The 'D' on the $5 bill is the missing 'D' from "knowlege". This, I know, has two meanings. But back then I didn't know one of them, and I see now that I have that other thing how it plays into this one. On top of that, the one I had has even more significance than I knew, because it ties into the " gate" that I already had. Note that on the phone, the names, at the end is "Open Gate". And yeah, Forrest, I got the other thing in this SB earlier and it's still funny today. The one about the missing 'w' in "Edard". You are a Joker, Fenn! LOL Another thing I just got today is the "fix", with two separate lines that mean the same thing. The little girl will be smiling. Ohhh you joker, Forrest, you planned that, didn't you. What a special moment. Also, I didn't know about 13 and 'B' (a closed 13) being the same symbol for treasure. But now I see that the address shown, 1921, adds up to 13. Anyhow, the whole thing makes sense now.

(Easily confirmed: the 10th was a Monday, the 16th a Sunday.) The time is harder to read, but my assumption has always been 2:35 pm.

There is a write way to do something -- that's what FF says in the scrapbook. Errors are not mistakes. A wright way to do it would be to fly. Florence, CO -- opennav.com/waypoint/US/FLOOD that's on the envelope. Wildernes is spelled wrong... but the 1921 is just fine. Let's go 192.1 degrees from Florence, CO waypoint via a plane -- ff was a pilot you know and there is a wright way to do it.... What waypoint do you hit if you go 192.1 degrees from Florence? You hit exactly Double Eagle -- opennav.com/airport/KAEGIt's important to understand that if you go 194 degrees or 190 you hit nothing. The waypoints in the sky are like one way roads . Here's an easy to understand primer on waypoints: www.cntraveler.com/stories/2015-06-02/a-pilot-explains-waypoints-the-hidden-geography-of-the-skySo it's not trivial that Florence is even a waypoint... and that going 192.1 degrees hits another waypoint.... and that waypoint name is exactly what is in the treasure chest. That does not seem like a coincidence to me. However, that is only half the solve and I don't want to post the rest.

This year some time I found some things that made me think airports were in play to get a searcher to the right area. This is very interesting stuff.

I've got 38 pages of SB solves like this.... they are unique individual puzzles and generally point to the same area (not Double Eagle, btw). However, that only gets you close. Then you have to apply the same type of logic to the poem... which I am engaged in doing now. He basically primes you with the SB's to let you know what to look for in the poem. I'll also say this: everyone, but everyone seems to be reading the poem. You have to stop 'reading' it or looking for meaning in the words. I'm sure that it'll make metaphorical sense in the end, but that's not going to solve it. For example, the reason the B is capitalized in HoB has nothing to do with a proper noun... but instead is capitalized so that it can be 'read' properly once you've adjusted and simplified the poem.
