SOLUTION 6A
Answer: The Mouse and Lion Statue at Silver Spring Library in Silver Springs, Maryland
In Ethiopia I was born
Because of my looks I was scorned
With a large misshapen head
I filled people’s hearts with fear and dread
I was called the dwarf monstrosity
Against me were committed atrocities
But I was cunning with wits and smarts
And this changed the feeling in the people’s hearts
They saw me as a man who was clever
And I set out on a new endeavor
I became advisor to kings
And it was I who pulled the strings
I began to write the wrongs
In stories that sounded much like songs
Carried down from many ages
Written down on many pages
Some full of surprise
All will make you wise
I'm not going to go into too much explanation about this poem. It is about Aesop.
However, I did have some letters highlighted in the poem. If you were to count 13 letters to the right from those highlighted letters, you would get the letters SPRING. I picked the number 13 because M is the 13th letter of the alphabet. The state this one is located in is Maryland. The poem itself was written on what looked like a SILVER plaque. The font I used for the poem was consolas, which is commonly used for books, as it looks somewhat like a typewriter.
CLUES IN THE ART:
Of course most everyone knows Aesop's story of the mouse and lion.
There is a big "A" on the book.
The light is one that is commonly used in libraries.
The zipcode numbers were in the bricks on the arch, but upon printing, they became somewhat illegible. You might still be able to make out two dots for 2, and a 9. But you can't see the rest. The zipcode for Silver Spring is 20910.
