Some really good discussion here. Many have read my thoughts on the connection to the continental divide (borders, etc) . I once mocked this crazy theory, but once I removed the bias and stuck to following the clues and understanding Mr. Fenn's use of the slight of hand, I humbly opened my eyes. I finally published the final clincher in proving this up using the contiguous clue method and follow the star theory to produce the ultimate connection to the aberration in Mr. Fenn's memoir "Movies lie to you." I can assure you this is no "cheap one pony show." (wink, wink) This is all new original research so I have kept it available for those are interested and who have access to the search's blog on my website. The Wolf

I have always thought the reason for mentioning the Rocky Mountain Range was to draw our attention to the Continental Divide. Imo, warm water halts where it could go either way. This would make the CD the first clue. Imo,to find the next clue you would need to find the correct wwwh along the CD and repeat this at each general area wwwh. As you narrow your area down you work your way through the poem, relating each wwwh to the next keyword. Eventually you are down to a very small area where the 9th wwwh is only a "f"EW chains away from the 1st.
I believe each clue location reveals an important characteristic of the final(correct) wwwh. Each of them being no place for the meek. How else would one know for certain that they are making progress without some key reference tying all clue locations together?
I think I will check out your stuff Mr Wolf.
I can't afford a book right now though. I'm saving my pennies for gas to get back to the hoB.

Is this where you put in below the hob. Is this where ff Went in there along it could be. But I don't think so I'm looking at the wwwh is below the hob. But each clue is consecutive order you can steal be down below the hob. From wwwh and canyon down and be below hob. I don't think the hob is behind us I believe it's beside us.

Here is a thread for anyone to post thoughts about where 'no place for the meek' could be, and why. Please try and limit discussions to only 'place of the meek' possibilities' Thanks IMO. The map of the poem gives us duration. I would say you start from the east but put in below would be south of the hob. The end is ever lasting nigh west then there's no paddle up your creek north here's your X mane the X is durations.

No it might not be around in a hundred years. RABBIT HOLE. BUT it could just the wilderness.
