I have mentioned my follow the star theory a couple of years ago and it was given a boost when Mr. Fenn's cover page to Once Upon A While featured the long awaited star. I believe the star is the key to solving and verifying each clue. I finally revealed how it works and provided the link to the first clue as well as how the contiguous clue theme works to bring vague clues into a well thought out and clever pattern. If you have my book version 3.5 the password is at the back of the book, log in to read my latest blog posts where I plan to lead you through the follow the star solution right to the location of the chest! Clue one and two are already posted It should be fun. www.findingfenn.com/ go to blog then searchers blog. The Wolf

Sorry- don’t have your book. Although, I believe following a star is maybe on the correct path.

From wiki:
Asterion II Edit
Main article: Minotaur According to Karl Kerenyi[5] and other scholars, the second Asterion, the star at the center of the labyrinth on Cretan coins, was in fact the Minotaur, as the compiler of Bibliotheca[6] (III.1.4) asserts:
Pasiphaë gave birth to Asterius, who was called the Minotaur. He had the face of a bull, but the rest of him was human; and Minos, in compliance with certain oracles, shut him up and guarded him in the Labyrinth.
"Minotaur" is simply a name of Hellene coining to describe his Cretan iconic bull-man image: see Minotaur. Coins minted at Cnossus from the fifth century showed the kneeling bull or the head of a goddess crowned with a wreath of grain[7] and on the reverse—the "underside"—a scheme of four meander patterns joined at the centre windmill fashion, sometimes with sickle moons or with a star-rosette at the center: "it is a small view of the nocturnal world on the face of the coin that lay downward in the printing process, and is, as it were, oriented downward".

on Google translate, I typed in star and had it translate into French. The word in French is: laétoile And it gave a definition back in english: star, blaze, principal
I have to admit I’m a bit shocked by this. Perhaps I could say star could be a blaze- fire in the sky- but principal? Very interesting. My mind is buzzing with French soldiers and principal like star pupil? like take focus. Principal Fenn. Rabbit holes galore! It’s amazing how one word can change everything. 😊

While you have your dictionary out look up the German name Stern and Stella (Italian) which is the name of the lake in the floating hat scrapbook Personality Galore, you will be amazed. There is a pretty big star blaze that is a mere 93 million miles away.

Hi Wolf, I've read your book and the new blog posts. I too, have a star theory but it involves drawing a star on a map which "founds" (creates) the blaze. It doesn't work in your search area, but there's enough hints regarding stars and asterisks that I'm certain the final solution involves those in some way. Your GPS cords along foster are compelling as well.

Your GPS cords along foster are compelling as well. I like where you are going and I think you will like where I am going too. I believe you are on the right track. The trick is to get the right map with a scale small enough that contains only a few feet of error when the X or * is applied. Mine is down to 3-5 feet. My solutions are intended to spark thought as I feel correct clue solutions can be applied to the correct geographical coordinates.

I finally got around to publishing my answer to the second clue riddle - "How far is too far to walk?" I am quite proud of it since it is original material and has never been discussed publicly. It promises to explain why the Little Girl from India can't solve clue 3. For those that have access to my searcher's blog login to read all about it www.findingfenn.com/blog/category/Searcher-BlogAll rights reserved by The Wolf.

Moving this from another thread to its proper home. I just revealed further why the follow the star theory is in line with Forrest's quote "tight focus with a word that is key" on my website at the searcher's blog. Many people think that this statement is "on a word" but it is "with" not "on" For those who do not have access to my blog, here is a picture hint. Just think! Attachments:
