I'm using the numbers as elevation 8,250ft and 2hrs58min as travel time rather than the 3hrs3min I found after subtracting the shorter distance from the longer distance. If it does refer to a date such as Aug. 25, what do you believe the dates purpose could be within the poem? Line 8 has 25 characters excluding spaces but including punctuation. Interesting...

Romans chapter 8, verse 25 So I found a place 8.25 miles north of santa fe that is below the home of Brown. It actually is close to a fish hatchery place in the rocky mountains starts elevation at 5000 ft. Hmm?. That was intresting. Just playing around with an idea.

Sounds familiar- pretty sure others have searched there. Just remember for said it’s not associated with any structure.

I confused the TC has nothing to do with anything structure it not under any building or in any building. But sense some of the places didn't exist when ff was a kid. Then could some of the clues be associated with a structure not the TC.

This is also riches New and old.

I believe FF said that because pp where getting him in trouble for digging and destroying property. IMO he might have had to say "not associated with any structure" so pp would stop destroying things. Just like buried vs. hidden. Don't dig up stuff. Just my thoughts. I could be wrong.

As attractive as the postmarks are as a mechanism for hiding hints or clues, Forrest didn't come up with them. On my phone so I can't tell you the name of the woman who did (Mz. Bodelson or something like that?), but like the illustrations it doesn't leave a lot of opportunities for Forrest to make changes that wouldn't clue-in the graphic designer.
If there is a hint hiding here, I would think it's in the one repeated postmark, which happens also to be the only one that appears on an odd-numbered page (51 if memory serves?)

FYI: I'm not in New Mexico but I am 8.25 miles somewhere north of Santa Fe and it starts with the color red. Not in Colorado either.
