Not a good blaze, Mike. Yours is easily removed, and Fenn strongly suggests his blaze is not. "Not feasible to try." But you think your blaze can be seen from google earth?

Yes, totally. And that's actually a point in its favor--would be very difficult to remove (not to mention illegal if even attempted).

Heidini: illegal in the sense of removing/destroying, say, Old Faithful (no, it's not a geyser, just giving an example of comparable absurdity).

You should be able to identify the blaze with some type of good map. Forrest has specifically mentioned Google Earth. To go in confidence, follow a path known in advance, and only need to be at site to close on the final piece of the solve, i think you need to know the blaze before going in for the retrieve.

I going by what ff said why are people driving around hunting for the blaze. If you can drive around and find the blaze. Then you should be able to find the blaze from Google earth. Straight up solves from Google earth seems to me to much of a short cut that would be a average solve from Google earth just my opinion. But ff did say look at the big picture why would ff give 9 clues that you can solve from Google earth that wouldnt make any seems.Imo the big picture is wwwh sits you can see it from Google earth. Now The first two can be solve from Google earth the next 7 clues is down in the canyon and some are in the creek Google earth cant go down far enough to see the 7 clues this why ff tells a few are in tight focuse with the key word IMO the key word is walk.

The only problem with the few that gets within 200ft. Dose not know how to decipher the 7 clues. They did decipher not far because they went too far ff tells us this. They passed it up. So seens not far had been solved and too far to walk has been solved Only Imo. This would make not far and too far to walk is the starting part of the second clue.
