I have been holding off on this for quite a while to see if anything surfaced and it did not. I just added this to my searcher's blog and the private Finding Forrest Fenn discussion forum. Forrest Fenn can sell anything to anyone, which amplifies the meaning of "Its not who you are, it's who they think you are." The master marketer has proven over his tenure of the chase, just how good he is at selling ideas and none is better than the now famous dog poop raffle. According to Mr. Fenn, he left some $100 and $50 bills on his desk and his dog got a hold of them and chewed it to threads and ingested some of the pieces. He then followed the dog around over the next few days and collected the pieces from the feces and laundered them. After he and his grandchildren lost patience of piecing the puzzle of money back to its original form, he decided to sell it to the oh so willing treasure hunter community, and boy did he! And at many times the face value to the tune of nearly $7700 (see Dal). Once you see this you will realize just how deep Mr. Fenn can go to hide hints.

Oh yes super weird and this discovery is super cool! Just really shows the level to which the game is played yet oblivious to so many. Some of this is literally under our noses.

I never understood the whole thing. It was on eBay and then all of a sudden it was gone? I’ve never understood the significance of it. I just thought it was super weird. What did it mean?

Heidini, In my 5 year quest to understand Fenn, I have learned a lot. One of the big things I have learned is his mastery of the aberration. His ability to get our attention yet have no one understand it. If there is one thing I am absolutely willing to bet is how he is able to insert hints to the clues when no one expects it. There are no limits. This is one of those examples that I am sure humours him.

It did grab a lot of peoples’ attention I suppose. Maybe it was “talk” that f was seeking? To stay “fresh?” in conversation? 😂

There is a sucker born every day. Fenn could spin a story and sell his yard clippings, that is just who he is. Got to love it! It may be one of the biggest hints yet in terms of searchers just getting bowled over thinking something that is not. Maybe fun to explore but with the thousands of hints folks think there are, where's the chest?

What do you think this is? I know exactly what it is, and much more importantly why it is. Well if Wal-Mart is having a sell on TC then I'm in.😂

What do you think this is? I know exactly what it is, and much more importantly why it is. Lots to discover in this Chase. Aren’t those “ah- ha” moments so much fun!

Sam Walton was 'something else'..... literally.
Insofar as Walmart's logo is concerned; bursts and massive titanium drill bits being connected with the Military and a "global community" IMO, shouldn't be dismissed too easily.
