Actually I could remove Grand Coolie dam since MR. Fenn said WWWH (where we need to begin) is not a dam. I do have a really good idea where to begin with regards to the poem and end, but where can we start with your original question. I am amp'd up somewhere in the middle!

This is been an education on what we all interpret what the word "imagination" means, similar to what FF predicted about how we use the word "several." We often misinterpret the real meaning. Sometimes I wonder if that is the problem with my we searchers get so far off the mark. I often wonder about the "redneck" and how a child may have an advantage and I wonder if a literal interpretation of his hints would not help.
For instance, I suggested imagination literally is "image"+"in"+"nation" The redneck and child in me wonders if we should not see images in nations (map)? or images like the those in his shower? Ok, some of you will chuckle , but hold on for a moment, what about Forrest number one overused advice to us... "You're gonna have to figure out the clues in the poem and go to it" and “The first clue in the poem is, begin it where warm waters halt. That’s the first clue. If you don’t… if you can’t figure that clue out, you don’t have anything."
Again the literal interpretation of this word "figure" could be a literal image, not a process of learning. So are we to use our image (nation) which is more important than knowledge and look for a "figure" to figure out where WWH is and the other clues. IF so, what figure would we be looking for?

If you knew why the child has a advantage. You will know why Forrest can get the Tc anytime wants.

If you knew why the child has a advantage. You will know why Forrest can get the Tc anytime wants. I believe FF said he doesn't think he could retrieve it anymore.

My focus for tonight's research has been on Ernest Hemingway and his style of writing. He has a style that is termed as "iceberg theory" that is very similar to ff's poem TTOTC. Basically, it is using as few words as possible to create an image in your mind or for you to fill in the blanks with what you think the meaning is. Filling in the blanks, for me, has landed me at the bottom of, who knows how many rabbit holes. May be another rabbit hole, but has been some interesting reading. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernest_Hemingway This link will take you to the "iceberg theory" Yep. I bought the book Big-Two Hearted Rivers. It's so funny you called out the iceberg theory. One of my solves.

Is that good or bad news for me? Should I keep digging in this rabbit hole or hop into another one? I have an itch to learn about Old Style Fonts and how they were once used...;-) There's more to it. Hemingway. There is another book that sits on FF's shelf that has Hemingway in it. A documentary too with a highway.

I am getting ready to study the TToTC inline with the poem again with a map. Draw all the lines and make them cross. I have given myself permission to stay on the chase for 15 yrs. It's only been half a year so far.
There is one gal that said start at the beginning if you don't know where to start and then she deciphered the words: Thrill of The Chase. A memoir. Clever gal. Don't know if it's correct but it seems strange she got The Firehole c rim.

I know right? I thought it was kind of cool she got those words out of the title. C rim, see rim, sea rim. Sea rim is interesting because of the word chama. But that just goes down another rabbit hole.

But that just goes down another rabbit hole. That's funny. Did you notice that a mountain peak just West of Chama NM is called Rabbit Peak 1 thing about Chama NM I noticed is that it is the home of the Narrow Gauge Heritage Railway. I posted in a different thread a couple weeks ago that if you changed 5000 feet to meters you get 1524 meters. The kicker here is take the 1524 meters and replace meters with millimeters you have 1524 mm. That is the size of the 5 foot Broad Gauge Railroad Tracks. HAPPY NEW YEARS to ALL here!!!

But if she got the title of the book from the poem, then that's a pretty heavy hint that you can get something from the book. Is that what she did, get the book title from the poem? Happy New Years to all.

Then she selected letters to make: The Firehole halts at home c rim.
