GLAD YOU FOUND IT. I read what ff had to say and curious about the last line "Best of luck with all you seek! Always Treasure the Adventure!" Did ff say this or just an added comment by the person writing the question and answer? Either way, I zero'd in on the capital T and A in the last sentence. Google gave me several hits and T.A. Barron Fantasy Books stood out to me. Link below to T.A. site tabarron.com/ Scroll down to the last book (first 1 that caught my eye) and also take notice of names of persons that gave reviews - Terry Tempest Williams was one of them. Gonna dig a little deeper. THANKS FOR ANOTHER RABBIT HOLE...:-(

Always Treasure the Adventure!” She has that on just about everything. Forrest always has an “f” or earlier an “ff” after his quotes/ sayings.

Looking at the shadow under the skull...Does it look like a keyhole to anyone else? If yes, any idea where the picture came from/taken by whom? Good eye, NPS! Based on my experience with Forrest and his past "arranged" pictures, I think there's a good chance it's deliberate. I have been thinking about the shadow and the possibility of the meaning behind it. The link below may shed some light on its possible meaning. There could possibly be another meaning related to the Piper Mirage plane ff used to fly and even another could be related to the Knot Theory (working on this one and what the clues are in the poem). Using this theory, I have 9 possibilities for "clues". It would be interesting to see if 1 of you gals or guys using Knot Theory find the same possible "clues" that I found. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allegory_of_the_Cave en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knot_theory

NPS: I'm reluctant to stray too far from "redneck" knowledge (I mean that respectfully, as in practical life information as opposed to esoterica) when reading into Forrest's occasional cases of suspicious imagery. I think the main motivation behind the contest -- and recent SB 197 -- was to counter some of the ugliness that has surfaced this winter: a little attitude adjustment if you will. (I'm reminded of the line from the movie "Stripes": "Lighten up, Francis.") You know things have run off the rails when Diggin Gypsy decides to pull back a bit from public interaction... Disagreeables indeed.
Still, I get the feeling that Forrest can't resist the temptation to slide a subtle hint into his public comments. And he is savvy enough to know that if he makes it vague enough, it will "confirm" searchers' solutions in all four states. ;-)

I have started thinking as the poem as songs in the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame and the HINTS are just a distraction and don't mean anything.

To give an example using Allegory of the Cave...If you are brave and in the wood...If you are brave translates to F# (F sharp major) and in the wood translates to chord. Michael Jackson's bass riff chord (in the simple sense) for Billie Jean. My reasoning for F# conclusion takes other things into consideration and could possibly even be G# (what I really think it means) with other considerations. Using F for this example only. I'm not saying this is correct, just 1 example for possible meaning. Same line could possibly be Yellow Submarine using Allegory...

You know after looking at sabber and the key hole but don't forget there's a blaze also. The key hole is on the wood is it to unlock something in this picture. What do I see The blaze is white and the head it could be repersenting round. So to me the blaze is white and round.

But if you look at it this way the key hole could be representing the blaze is on a tree because the white light of the blaze is on the wooden table. Is the blaze on a tree.

To get to that keyhole, looks like you’d have to move this big old thing out of the way.

The keyholes are on the wood. “Brave and in the wood” for the end? Brave against a saber tooth? The key goes in the wood.
