Question: After solving the starter puzzle, what are we looking for in the next step? A pattern? Will the pattern convert to a phrase?

There are some clues in the Starter Puzzle about what to look for next.

I'm posting this on the Facebook page for everyone too. I hope this will help!
When I was designing the lamps, I thought about telling everyone at the beginning what to look for in each key, and what the final puzzle leads to. But I decided that should be part of the discovery. Also, if I tell what the final puzzle is for, the players could start making deductions about what goes into it, and that would make it easier to back-solve everything that come BEFORE the final puzzle. So that would be giving too much away.
The Starter Puzzle tells you where to start, and you can only start at that ONE place, It's a progression from there. I need to make that clear to everybody. Each key has a different puzzle with a different method, and none of them are easier than the others..... but there are certain things they all have in common.
Each key is represented by a different color *with the same size bead*. That should make things a bit clearer!
You have to find the 1st key FIRST. I will post public clues for the 1st key to make it easier to find. The Starter Puzzle has clues for finding the 1st key, and there are some things in it that you MUST HAVE in order to find the 1st key. There are some things in it that people haven't noticed yet.
The 1st key leads to the SECOND key, and the 2nd key leads to the THIRD key, and the 3rd key leads to the FOURTH key, in order. You have to find all of them in order. But since each of them uses a different method, they're all equally hard to find. So for instance if you are the 1st finder of the 1st key, you have one certain thing that you need for the 2nd key, but you won't be able to employ the same solution method to find it. That's why I made the cash prizes the same for all four keys. Even if you're the first finder of the 1st and 2nd keys, you might not be the first one to figure out the method for the 3rd key, because it's a different method. And even if you're the first one to find all four keys, you might not be the first one to figure out the solution for the final puzzle....the final puzzle uses a different method than the four keys. It might seem like the first finder of each key has an advantage to find the next key and to solve the final puzzle, but you will find out that's not really the case.
For each key, I'll give out clues to make it easier for everyone to find them in succession.
Compare it to a house with rooms. The Starter Puzzle is the car that gets you to the front porch and doorway of the house. The solution to the Starter Puzzle gets you to the front door. The 1st key gets you into the first room in the house. In this room, you have to look for the 2nd key, and you have to figure out a different method. In the 2nd room, you have to look for the 3rd key, also using a different method.. In the 3rd room, you find the method to find the 4th key, and so on. Then you have all four keys, and can go out where the final puzzle is waiting.
At first I was going to call this puzzle the "Lamp of (Something) House" but decided not to!
Anyway, I'm going to post this for everyone to see. I hope this helps!

This is a clarification on something I posted earlier....It's not really a hint, but it will help you to read this because it makes it easier to understand what I posted earlier! I had said, "Each key is represented by a different color *with the same size bead*." I realize now that I should have worded that slightly differently.. I didn't mean to mislead. Each key IS represented by a different color. *Within each key puzzle* the key is represented by beads of the same size. For one of the four keys, the key is represented by a different size bead than the other three keys.
You'll see the reason for the different size when you work on the final puzzle.
I hope this makes it easier to see, There are actually three different size beads. The third size is used simply for placers. For these placer beads, I chose the shade for aesthetic reasons. Does this make it easier to understand?
Also, there are four different colors....hues really. All the beads are see-through. Some are more transparent than others. If you look, they do all have a certain hue.
Hopefully this, plus the clue I'll post tomorrow, will help you find where to start for the first key!
