The full riddle is here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8M2V2t1MVc (and there are most likely some 'hints' in the video) (Stanza 4 of it) The next plus two is found Astride a treasure on its own Spare no expense, search everywhere Beside a bird that’s rarely thrown Going along with my theory a Tetractys might be hinted at in the previous stanzas..... and maybe the first piece is a 'triangle'-- the top---- then the line 'The Next plus two' (a triangle plus two others/turned) is noticed.... and might be a Trapezoid and needed to search for... or something.... Just trying to get some discussion going, as this hunt is pretty cool.

"bird that's rarely thrown" I had as being the Twitter logo.... but.... three strikes in a row (which I'm guessing is rarely thrown in bowling terms) is known as a "Turkey", so that could be another bowling link

I really like the idea of a 'Turkey' linking to the bowling reference, partly because we do have the word 'Spare' right above it..... That's great inatimate1.... I wasn't aware they were called that... cooooool.

I believe he is referring to the country. The country of Turkey, that is.

Music for this one would be a turkey caller. Many different turkey sounds.

To get some conversation going, I am posting this. I am not sure of this one, but I don't think it's a complete rabbit hole journey.
I like all the turkey in bowling thoughts. When you score a turkey in bowling, it is marked XXX on the score sheet. when you convert these on a phone alpha-numeric keypad you get 999.
I am thinking the first key is a 10 digit phone number.

I was thinking along the lines of XXX is 101010 but that is computer ones and zeros. I can't get a fix on the "astride a treasure on its own". The rest of the lines are all about bowling to me. A Bowling trophy?

I can't resist going down this rabbit hole in reply to the solarpons comment......
101010 is 42 in Binary coded decimal. And according to the book/movie "a hitchhikers guide to the galaxy", 42 is everything.

Also on this stanza, the first line is a spare in bowling terms to me so that is a // as it states the nest two. so is the the // we need fore a website address? and the rest of the lines are the needed characters?

Personally, I think we're looking for a 10-letter word. If the first part is HOME and the last part are four letters designated by 1. Explode 2. the strongest wind 3. No sea legs here 4. a song by D.D.E.
then I think "the next plus two" is simply telling us he is referring to the middle two letters.

The last two lines refer to the country TURKEY How we get that is SPARE, and TURKEY are bowling terms. (a Turkey is a zero score, which is pretty hard even if you are as bad at bowling as I am ) The 2nd line tell us to search a map. We need to find a country or a place in a country next to the country TURKEY and the remove two letters from it How do we know what this place is? We use the clue "Astride a treasure on its own"
