I live in Italy. You can dial 001 from a landline (who even still has a landline?) but it's +1 from a cell phone. I have all my numbers stored as +1 (or +39,+44, etc) so no matter where I am, they always go through without any hassle. that's correct, in most of Europe. + substitutes for the international dial code that is normally 00 in most countries but not all. The country code and area code then follows.

I decided to watch 'Ready Player One' and it crossed my mind that the company IOI was 1's and 0's, so thought about the VR place which is known as OASIS 'Nothing' O anagram 'is as' ASIS, he also need to wear a glove when in VR, it's a possibility. The group are known as the "High Five" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ready_Player_One_(film)

I like your angle with this!
I personally believe RP1 is a big part of this riddle. I also don't know how reliable the movie info is, I remember it being so different from the book. I've been doing research these last few weeks solely based on the book Wiki, though I have a copy here and should probably just reread the whole thing since it's been a few years. I've been using the book less as a reference and more as a road map for the riddle, if that makes any sense.

I found another location that is a better fit, I think. I kept going back to what fits like a glove, and the best match really is skin to me. I know it was mentioned before. Things like womb and cradle really aren't a good match. I think we let the last line about mother influence our guess for the first line, but a womb isn't a tight fit at all around a baby.
I'm pretty sure mother together with fawning is indicating deer.
So I googled deerskin trying to find any location. I thought there would be lots, but surprisingly I just found one: Deerskin Lake in Wisconsin. (There is also a Deerskin Lake in Ontario and one in Indiana, but for that one the name shows in Google but there doesn't seem to be any body of water, so I'm not sure what's up with that. Other sites indicated it's a reservoir, so I don't see how you could call it).
Since Lukas is from the US, I'm going with the one in WI. It is a small enough place that it looks like it only has one area code and one exchange: 715 479

Good points! However, my philosophy here is this: Why create a riddle where the answer is something like: 182-224 4420? If you ask me, it is more likely that the hidden message is something that we can read and understand right away. Just my two cents. I might be wrong so don't rule anything out until the treasure has been claimed...

If you ask me, it is more likely that the hidden message is something that we can read and understand right away. Just my two cents. I might be wrong so don't rule anything out until the treasure has been claimed... You normally on a web site have WWW.xxx.xxx where the WWW denotes the name of the server. The server admin can call his server anything they like. 715.mywebsite.com would be a perfectly legitimate web address if the server was named 715. You will often see business sites where they will dedicate a server to accounts (accounts.mybusiness.com) or sales (sales.mybusiness.com). If the puzzle piece was to find an area or place then it would be perfectly legitimate for Lukas to use an numeric areas code and it would give him additional flexibility in setting puzzles. Also whats the point of setting a puzzle to find a web address if everyone is instantly going to guess WWW if that was the correct server name? So no you cannot dismiss numbers, areas codes, or any other alphanumeric term, it certainly does not have to be WWW a placename, or a word.

Also I've been trying to think of something that 'calls a place' that isn't a number. I supposed the answer could be some sort of telephone, but that could call any place.

I don't think key 1 is a website url. If it is, then Lukas' comment on the video page isn't accurate. He said, "...there are two "keys" which are pieces of information that are used to unlock the chest, whose location is also alluded to in the riddle." So the keys are used to unlock the chest. He didn't say they are used to find the chest. Also, the end of the riddle has: "Then with your newfound knowledge You must travel through black flame..." If key 1 was a website address, why would he need to tell us that we have to travel through black flame after we figure out key 1 and key 2? We would just need to type in that address. That's how I read it at least. But I'm happy for you to prove me wrong by claiming the $1000. This is a brilliant observation and I am surprised that not everybody listens to it. Perhaps it has been forgotten as it was said a while back. But I agree with it 100%. Nothing else makes as much sense considering the information we have at hand. Great job pointing this out!

I've been playing with the idea of the solution to the 3 parts of the key all being numbers. But instead of those numbers being used for an ip address, I've been trying to pick out letters with them. He does say we need to "travel through black flame" with the previous answers. So I've been playing with using the letters from Black Flame to spell something out. I've gotten nowhere with this, but here are the domain extensions that use just those letters: .me .ca .ac .ae .af .am .be .black .cab .cafe .cam .cc .cl .cm .ec .fm .la .lc I got this list from iwantmyname.com/domains but if you look at some place common like GoDaddy, they have a smaller selection: .me .la

It seems that most of the proposed solutions don't match the 'Ten Cuts' clue. (assuming that 'Ten Cuts' refers to an album with 10 tracks, although so far I think this is the only solution for that hint that makes sense). The options for a solution to the 3rd stanza seem to be getting dramatically and uncomfortably smaller With that in mind I decided to try take a different tack. musicbrainz.org/ has the biggest non commercial database of music media released (40 million plus entries). It does have a search option but the online search is pretty limited unless you are looking for an album name or artist name. Then multiple clicks to identify whether that album has 10 tracks. However the database behind that website is free to download, and is based on SQL. I already have the SQL schema (diagram of how different tables are linked and what is stored in each table). One particular table records number of tracks on the released media. Downloading the torrent as we speak (about 2GB). I should be able to create a simple SQL query to produce a list that contains only media that has 10 track. I would imagine that's going to be a pretty big list, but not unmanageable as most CD's will have more than 10 tracks or less than 10 tracks. I can then syphon off that data for media that contain 10 tracks into a new table and make this searchable. I will post once I have achieved that. If its not huge I will try post a list here, if its too big to post I will offer to do lookups for anyone that wants me to. This is the one stanza where we can virtually guarantee that we will have a list of solutions that definitely contains the correct answer (assuming the hint 'Ten Cuts' does indeed refer to an album , but that's the best solution so far proposed for this clue). It would be nice to be able to have one stanza more or less nailed. At the very least it will allow us to completely eliminate some solutions, and provide us with some hints that we might not have considered. EDIT. unfortunately this torrent is painfully slow. ETA about 30 hours. I was hoping to get this done before the weekend. Going to motorcycle racing at the weekend so unlikely to have the time to work on this and complete it before beginning of next week. Unless torrent arrives quicker than suggested ETA. Will get it done as soon as I can. I think this would be a really useful tool for all to benefit from if I can get it done.

Has anyone tied the ten cuts with stanza 3 other than music? I see a seamstress or a tailor "fitting" clothing "like a glove". trying to look at if the key part is a indication to the stanza it goes with to give the clue direction.

I tried to relate it to diamond cuts, but there is nothing standard with 10.

There's also an indie movie (only 20 min long) called Deerskin Lake. I watched it on Youtube a second time thinking maybe it only had 10 cuts in it. But nope.
