On another note, his choice of the word fawning is a little unusual. I googled the definition of fawn, and it turns out it comes from the latin word fetus. Which is another reason why I think womb is what we're after. Of course, this could just be a coincidence. . My very first thought and instinct for that stanza was womb too. That is better fitted for fits like a glove, and the mother’s love etc. Home is family, not just a mother. A womb can absolutely only be related to a mother.

Another thought I had about this stanza: "Piece number one will call a place..." Maybe we're meant to use a telephone keypad. For example, if the magic word is womb, then maybe the final solution to this stanza is 9662 (WOMB on a phone keypad) or something. . I had same thought. You get 4 digits on that stanza with womb maybe on a dial pad. The “next plus two” could either mean 3 digits or two. Depending on how you read it. It could be “the next.....plus two”. Or the next one plus two more for three. I believe it is 2 digits in this stanza. That would equal ten digits total if the last stanza “explode, strongest wind, no sea legs here, a song by dde.” Were referencing 4 numbers somehow. Be it c4, f5, c6, e(5 or 6? I forget right now) that need to be further uncoded? I don’t think a phone number is what we are actually looking for...but I keep all avenues open to interpret the clues so I don’t get tunnel vision on one particular idea and overlook the obvious.

I've found a band called WOMB (War on Man Babies) and they are from Michigan. They are very much unknown and don't seem to be the kind of music which I would expect Lukas to like, based on his other music interests, but they do exist to fit interpretations of the stanza.

Good points! However, my philosophy here is this: Why create a riddle where the answer is something like: 182-224 4420? If you ask me, it is more likely that the hidden message is something that we can read and understand right away. Just my two cents. I might be wrong so don't rule anything out until the treasure has been claimed... . I agree. I’ve hit some interesting post on reddit that made me wonder if Lukas would be hiding messages or clues in random post by made up users on forums or blogs. To everyone else it would just be another weird random post that they wouldn’t think twice about. But if your searching key words and a post pops up with several of those key words in it, searchers would pick up on it. Search everywhere!

I knew someone who did that. He had really hard puzzle boxes and once in a while he would post a clue on FB (his FB page had nothing to do with his puzzles). And I'm convinced he posted a clue on a game forum where he was talking about the way his family likes to play a board game.
Gotta remember to check out Reddit.

It could be the big Potterhead in me but as soon I saw, “ For nothing is as strong and fawning, as a mother’s love.” I immediately thought of Lily Potter. Her love saved her son and her Patronus is a doe. I’m just curious if this popped into anyone else’s head.
The only other thought I had was “piece” might refer to music. And I listened to “Lily’s Theme” on the soundtrack and couldn’t get anywhere else.
And the other side of that, is I firmly believe Harry Potter is referenced perfectly in the black flame stanza. So I don’t know that he would do multiple references. Ready Player One really seems to encompass all of Halliday’s pop culture interests and not really focuses on one.

There are numerous references to “LOVE fits like a glove”. When you search every town (worldwide) named Love ... there is one in Augusta County, Virginia. In referencing a mother’s love ... that County was named after Augusta Princess of Wales. She never became queen consort, as her husband died before he was given the title. So her eldest son was given the title of King.

Another thought for nothing is as strong or fawning... Artemis is not only in RP1 but she’s the goddess of the hunt, childbirth, she’s depicted with deer because they are her sacred animal. Just throwing that out there. Have no idea what to do with it of course

RP1 got me thinking pop culture. I know ET was referenced early in this thread, but seems a perfect fit. “Piece”-Reese’s pieces, “home” obvious, “mother” mothership. When ET presses the buttons on the speak and spell, it’s “AEP”. Doesn’t directly address fawning but thought worth sharing, happy hunting!

Going back to basics here. Is Lukas from Dearborn or are we getting that from "fawning" and "mother". He is from Midland and lives in Holland according to his FB page. (Lukas, if you are reading this, sorry about the cyber-stalking.) Should we be using another area code?

(Lukas, if you are reading this, sorry about the cyber-stalking.) Should we be using another area code? We're getting it from fawning mother. I see no reason to insist that it be related to where Lukas lives. We do have reason to believe that the poem would lead us to the right solution. How do you think Holland relates to the poem?
