Hi Cold-and-in-the-wood: yep, that's a perfectly acceptable solution for "put in," and precisely the type I've used in some of my solutions. (I actually didn't try your link -- I just cut & pasted the lat, long into Google Maps.) zaphod73491, Google Maps does not show what I intended (that I can tell). Paste this into your browser: naturalatlas.com/map/@45.101663,-110.763062,13z Hi CAITW: that map is busy, so it's not clear what you're trying to draw attention to other than the boat launch symbols or perhaps some placenames (e.g. Sheep Mtn.) Screengrab attached...

Is 'home of Brown' so difficult to understand, even once on location? Hi Jenny: at least for some of those searchers who got the first two clues right, I think the reason they fail to solve any more is actually explained in your question. They mistakenly think "home of Brown" is the third clue. Or another option, hoB is the same geographical feature as the first clue and the few searchers didn’t think about that option.

Quote from Forrest: “If a person reads the poem over and over…and are able to decipher the first few clues in the poem, they can find the treasure chest. It may not be easy, but it certainly isn’t impossible. I could go right straight to it.” So why didn't they? I like these quote because there is something about reading the poem over and over again to decipher the clues. Key is decipher.
