Thought I'd start this thread so that some poor family in Michigan doesn't have hundreds of people calling with 'sorry, wrong number.'
If you try a phone number and it's a dud, please post it here.

Hi All,
I just wanted to share...my main reason for starting this thread is so that a real person doesn't get inundated with hundreds of phone calls. So, unless you want to share more, don't feel like you have to post anything that ended up being a dead number (always a busy signal, for instance). Also don't feel like you have to share your logic. Unless you want to. I enjoyed TheCoyWonder's logic--999 being next to xxx was brilliant!

I think this thread is a great idea for your exact reasoning.

I don't think it's a phone number. I can't tell you how many phone calls I made at first. I even tried every exchange in 313 with .4566 even the ones not listed on that site.. there is another site with a more full list. I started thinking of how that would seriously annoy people and think that would have been brought up to him when he tested it with his friends and family.

I have to agree with you for the most part. Lukas must have known that it would result in lots of wrong numbers being tried. Also i would assume its hard to purchase a specific number, unlike an available url.
Well, we should know more in a couple of days depending on the question that is asked.
