I thought about that also gold hunt3r....could 21 be our first number for key 2? 2117? There HAS to be something that tells us what to do, if this hunt really can be solved with just the riddle alone as Lukas says it can? We shouldn't have to depend on his monthly yes/no question hints. Exactly. We need to focus thinking on the poem and any relations it may have to any words we see along the street. Of course, this doesn't help if it's numbers, codes, or anagrams.

I agree. One thing I was thinking. Maybe that other phone message doesn't mean from minnow creek to 21, it might mean from minnow creek 221, which could be our first number 221 is an area code for Huston TX, and it has a lot of intriguing things about treasure, look at this lol www.texasmonthly.com/articles/x-marks-the-spot/So, now maybe we have the numbers 221 17? Just realized this teXas lol Edit: never-mind, upon further digging i discovered that 221 is really an unassigned area code.....I guess it pays to double and triple check everything! www.peoplesearchnow.com/221-area-codeThat is the first site I saw about it, but I'm glad I didn't go too far down that rabbit hole 😅

Just a thought, I found a place that fits all parts of the 21 stanza (minnow creek, 21, mountain homes) that leads to the page number that you need in the book. So I could be wrong on this, but I’m thinking that stanza served the purpose of giving the page number you need. Which was unhelpful, since I found it after I already knew the right page. But I’m thinking that stanza isn’t applicable to finding key 2 after you solve the cipher, but is only used to help solve the cipher.

Luna, can you explain your logic? Like I said, I found minnow creek and mountain homes but not 21?

My solve for it brought me to the river. If you travel from Minnow Creek to the highway that used to be 21, it runs along the river which brings you directly to the city.

Chinook is a famous moutain and being that its a hotel or inn its at least possible this could be mt homes. That would conveniently leave only a few key buildings in btwn.

Good stuff, people.
Did Rockaway, Oregon hit anyone's radar? I chased it and gave up.

That does fit nicely into that Stanza. But then how do we go from the red line on the map provided up to there? Since the answer to the hint wasn't really yes flat out it does leave the window open to the hunt shifting up to there. Assuming something in the red area points us there.

OK Thanks Seems like Lukas has visited these places prior to making the hunt. (I know, stalk much) I had seen that his back went to Oregon in 2018 and played on the coast. I looked up the distance from the Portland Airport to Gold Beach and it was aprox 323 miles and if you took the coastal highway would take 6 hours and 17 minutes. 5 hours and 77 minutes. Found it interesting.

Captaincush, I like the 101+1=21, it sort of reminds me of beside a bird that's rarely thrown 381 1010. Also, I think the mountain homes he was referring to was The mountain home rd, and mountain home lodge, but once I got past those, I don't know what would be referred to as the answer lay? needless to say, I needed the dog-eared page to save the day lol but since he does say that we can solve it with the riddle alone, there HAS to be something we are all missing. I wish his hint questions were at least bi-montly, I really like working on this puzzle, but it seems like a lot of people are losing interest and/or not talking about this hunt very much anymore, so we are all just stuck waiting.

Check out how perfectly this fits the recorded message: www.google.com/maps/dir/Minnow+Creek,+California/Lost+Corner+Mountain,+California/Tragedy+Spring,+California+95666/Black+Jack+Bluffs,+CA/@39.3852771,-121.983212,8z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m31!4m30!1m10!1m1!1s0x54cd7a4593f63af5:0x56b3f9798eb98053!2m2!1d-121.9192245!2d40.8165688!3m4!1m2!1d-120.2053913!2d39.3011164!3s0x809bdefffc747383:0x1593f1688b54f073!1m5!1m1!1s0x809a2ae1f68841c3:0xc282d2633a487d2c!2m2!1d-120.2040784!2d39.0135184!1m5!1m1!1s0x8099f632189ec41d:0x7dbcda56c324b3a!2m2!1d-120.145958!2d38.638802!1m5!1m1!1s0x8090e8fb41c5f4cd:0xed60f9c5ddbc8b3!2m2!1d-120.5840906!2d37.8896487!3e0
I spent way too much time trying to make Tragedy Spring fit before his map hint came out.

Luna, can you explain your logic? Like I said, I found minnow creek and mountain homes but not 21? I'll try explaining without giving too much away and giving away the answer on how to solve the cipher. In another state (not Oregon) there is a Minnow Creek that also has a nearby area named after it (again, I don't want to say too much for the sake of the fun of the hunt if people want to find this area themselves. But the specific thing that is named after Minnow Creek ties back into the stanzas). From this area, about 3.5 miles West, there is a highway 21. In the span of road traveling from Minnow Creek to 21, you pass a building that contains "Mountain Home" in the name. And it just so happens, the stretch of road between the Minnow Creek area and the HWY 21 (which is self-contained between these two points and doesn't extend further past either of them) is a highway # where the # is the page number you need in the book to solve the cipher.
