Pete has confirmed (on this forum) that the token is hidden in the UK "as currently defined".
That would include Northern Ireland - and therefore Belfast - but not anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
I must admit I have completely overlooked that comment.
It was made in the middle of last year, I'm not sure exactly when the leader of the SNP (Scottish National Party) tried to propose the motion, but during 2018 there was mention of a possible third vote on Scottish independence from the UK in the wake of Brexit.
I mean yes, England is part of the UK, but why make a comment about it being how the UK is currently defined? It could potentially be a major clue to the location which has been disregarded as a throwaway comment by a lot of us, especially given that one country in particular has pushed to leave in the recent past.
"The Salmon of Knowledge is the ancient Irish legend of the folklore hero Finn Mac Cumhaill". I think this fish is the oracle and it knows where the token is, as it is directly next to the Albert Memorial Clock. It looks into S/E. back to Westengland, lol. Or Wales, but I think Wales is not part of the story.

i think numbers spinning round, refers to the spin quantum number of the elements in the periodic table. and i think the order that i fix refers to GPS fix positioning. However, im not clever enough to work these out haha, if anyone could look into these its worth a try
Hi all, first post and thought this would be the best place for it!
I tried entering this one with a fresh face, avoiding by clues others had posted, however I've had a dive in to he forum now. This is my first armchair hunt also, it's been entertaining so far. After conventionally following the clues, I did some digital sleuthing. This is not the way the puzzle is meant to be solved, but interesting nonetheless. I believe Pete had the drawings done, and then touched up and altered them himself, it's through this digital footprint you can see some things that may have been changed. Some of these may not be correct at all but were just otherwise noteworthy.
Here are my findings;
1) The sun position is very important, as we all know. The sun was pencilled in to the top left of the crucifixion page, before being actually painted nearer the center. 2) There may be some hidden writing in the London Plague skyline. The image quality from the pdf does not allow me to see any further. 3) The hand position of the roman soldier has been carefully put in, and (for some reason) his right arm has been made thicker than originally designed 4) The sky in the roman painting also has some irregularities, I think, but it's too vague to make out. I believe they might be lines the artist put in to block out areas. 5) Outlines on the middle greek soldiers left hand suggest it has been tweaked to make him point specifically 6) The Spear on the right most soldier goes over his hand, suggesting it has also been tweaked. 7) Colours on St Basils Basilica are all wrong. 8) Not really important, but I think a bit of facial hair got scanned in on the moon landing page!
Been scouring over the images waiting for something to jump out at me, I'm wary oft he clue; 'The more you look, the more you see, The more you see, the more you find The more you find, the more you look'
I think we may all be getting caught up in the minutae and missing the grander scheme of things
Hey Seeker, thank you for you comment within the submission thread. Just to keep the board and the submission thread clean I answer here:
You asked "Would it help if I say 'Orion'?" Which connection do you see? I would like to hear your opinion.
Obviously the Orion is important. It's one of just three (I did not find more) deliberate mistakes within the poems. --> Orions "Belt" is correct. The belt is also called "the three kings" or "the three sisters" --> Orion is the "Hunter" (Star constellation) --> Goddess of the Hunt is Diana/Artemis. (but I think that's overthinking) --> HMS Orion = 1910 or 85, HMAS Orion = S61 (As guestess figured out, HMS Oracle =S16) --> The angle might be important. It's 23° like the cat box, the spear and the Italian map. Just like the Earth's axis is tilted 23° --> The stars around are mirrored.
It must be in Killingholme somewhere. The word "Kill" appears 7 times within the book.
Later this day I did some further research on the lighthouses... There are actually 3 lighthouses in Killingholme: www.mycetes.co.uk/a/page53.html This story is worth reading. Three lighthouses in one village! And the fact that these are 3 in line might be the simple connection to "Orion".
In 1868 a guy from the red high Lighthouse "was accidentally killed by falling from the high lighthouse" -- "We all fall down" could fit.
Here is a picture. They are almost in line and they have the same formation as on the picture.
