Hello all! I have been following the hunt and this forum (from the sidelines) for about two months now. I just wanted to extend the offer to you all to personally go to a location that you think may house the “key”. I have time, a car, a kayak and good legs. I have already done this for several people that can’t make it here personally. I am on the hunt myself but obviously if your solve was correct I would let you know! Good luck to all!

Good to know! Hopefully I’ll find something I feel confident enough to take you up on the offer!

Pure speculation alert!!!
Have you ever looked near the bridge just south of Jordan Pond dam? I can't remember how I even came to suspect that area. Maybe a small stone stashed somewhere with writing/engraving?

Which bridge do you mean? I have checked the deer Brooke bridge as well as the cobblestone and a few others I just happened to be crossing in my time here.

Which bridge do you mean? I have checked the deer Brooke bridge as well as the cobblestone and a few others I just happened to be crossing in my time here. Somehow, I came up with the word "dam" in connection with the island. I didn't know at the time if there even was a dam on the island. Come to find out, there was a dam on Jordan Pond. And, with a map, I put that dam together with the clue "40 paces south" (I think) and it led me to a bridge. I'm not sure if it was Cobblestone Bridge or Jordan Bridge.
I never had any solid leads to put much faith in it.
