Bubble panes reveal

deliberate shapes in left pane. i see white blocks and green grass in upper half. looks like something wrapped on a horizontal pole. rectangle shape emerging from right pane. box emerging from center of clock.

the blur is deliberate, and i am working on that to sharpen without losing the detail. i am finding that lower resolution reveals more.

i have been studying the drawing style of Overton Lloyd which is helping me interpret what i am seeing, under the paint.

what do you see?

Here's a photo of actual painting. Much sharper. You can actually see stuff in the bird, bubbles and clock face. Note no Russian cathedral in the painting.

What if the bubbles aren't bubbles, but gravel or pavers or stone walls?
