In just trying to brainstorm what could possibly be a 4” x 4” distinct plot of land, the only things I can come up with are:
a sidewalk plaque
a burial plot marker
i like a previous poster’s idea of the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade. A few years ago they put a sidewalk marker where it starts and it does have a depiction of a float with a pointy head. But no feathers and it’s about 4x4 feet, not inches.
I also tried to find a really small grave marker, like in a pet cemetery. But nothing.

Interesting. I like the arrow. So we just have to find a specific marker with an arrow that relates to "a realized bourbon red."

I just looked at the benchmarks at Franklin County Airport, the only benchmarks I could connect with "fly". But none have arrows on them. Changing subject abruptly, 4 by 4 inches is a small plot but by no means the smallest available. Gotohellmi.com offers you the chance to buy one square inch of Hell, MI for $10.

I think it's interesting that he said specifically a 4x4 plot of land. Wouldn't a 4"x4" plot of land just be gps coordinates to the 6th decimal, not a thing? Not that there couldn't be a thing on that plot, but I believe he's looking for gps coordinates, not an object.

I'm not working on this so I don't know the exact wording of the clue. Could 4x4 plot of land be a place where 4-wheel drive vehicles do their thing?

I’m so psyched. I just sent in my guess, fingers crossed! I reached my guess by focusing on “flies” and a 4x4 area. Even if I’m wrong, it was fun to try.

I havent been able to find a way to pull reliable coordinates from the original riddle. when i hear “fifth”, it brings to mind a bottle of whiskey. For a case of Buffalo Trace, what is the footprint of one of the bottles? Seems like it should be about 4x4 inches? (Maybe thats a bit too big). Could there be a connection? Does the Buffalo Trace trail have a marker? Is there a famous buffalo footprint somewhere? |
