Q: Is there an instruction how to print and assemble the puzzle?
A: Print the pages two sided in color. Hopefully your printer has good alignment between the sides. Then cut each page into 6 square 2-sided cards. The first page shows 6 square kards that will be hopefully self explanatory. Ask again if you need more clarification.
As for "assembling the puzzle", I'll leave that for you to figure out.

I sent a PM regarding one of the cards. Thanks.

Note to all: I generally won't respond to PMs about Kodewords Kards. If I choose to respond to them, I'll copy the PM and the response to this public thread and to the facebook page so everyone can see both the PM question and the response.

Understood!
I wasn't trying to gain any inside, or extra information, but wanted to clarify something on the Atbash Kard. I think other people will notice what I was asking about. I just didn't want to post a spoiler.
Thanks!

Yes, I didn't think you were. Sorry if it came out that way. I just wanted other folks who might only see "I sent a PM..." and nothing more to know that no extra information is being discussed in private. If you wish to ask spoiler-free question about a specific kard (or the kards in general), feel free to do so here. If you wish to ask a question but feel it can only be asked with an included spoiler, feel free to PM me but know that I may choose not to answer for any of a number of reasons. Or I may choose to respond to a suitably edited version of the question in a public thread like this one.

I have loved every card. Obviously I love the cards I figured out more, but all in all, I have had a lot of fun this afternoon. Thanks!

Jewelie, I agree! This is a very fun puzzle! Thanks so much to Bill for providing the free cards, and a chance to win some cash. It has been a fun afternoon for me too! And I know I will be spending a lot more time on this!

It's nice to hear the nice words. Thanks! If possible, please reserve this thread for official Q&A. Feel free to chat on the "Open Discussion" thread or to start issue-specific threads. Cheers!

Q: The instructions say that there are 8 letter words. Might these "words" actually be phrases? Or if I find a phrase, does that mean I must do something to those 8 letters to get to a single word?
A: Fair question. A kodeword is not necessarily a single valid english word. For example, things like HIGHFIVE or THEZEBRA or even ABCDEFGH would all be valid 8 letter kodewords. As an example (I don't think I'm spoiling much here): the first 8 letter kodeword is on Kard 000 and is simply FIRSTONE spelled out in text.
Follow up comment: I was basically assuming anything that didn't make something recognizable was wrong.
A: The kodewords are not random. You won't find a kodeword that is KXLWEPFR for example. That said, sometimes the meaning may not be crystal clear, or the meaning may only be apparent at a later stage, or the meaning may be abbreviated to fit a fixed length (like TAKSUBWY might be a kodeword telling you to take the subway, for example).

Q (paraphrased): I'm stuck on a particular kodeword and don't know if I'll ever be able to get it. Is there a point in continuing?
A: You may be able to win the prize for finding the final kodeword even if you can't figure out a particular kodeword. As a rough analogy, finding the final kodeword may be kinda-sorta like figuring out the theme of a crossword puzzle: you may not need to know every entry in the puzzle to figure out the theme.
OTOH, yes, if you can't figure out a specific kodeword you won't be able to claim the second prize for finding all of the kodewords. If you're in this spot, you may want to team up with others. Teams in challenges like this often work faster than individuals.

I was looking at the colored images on the back. I wanted to make sure that the hips and lower arms are supposed to be too big/not fit. I guess I just don't know what that means yet. 😊

Q: Has anyone sent in a winning entry for all 27 Kodewords yet?
A: Multiple people and teams have correctly found the first 27 Kodewords. The complete set of Kodewords needed to claim Prize #2 contains more than 27 of them. How many do you need to claim Prize #2? Kard XXX might tell you...
