Hi, I just began reading some of the discussion here and thought I’d chime in. BTW, nice job finding those streets (BOY, CAB, FLOW, LEN) and the pentagon in the nearby park. If you read the bottom line of the May clue as an acronym you get a type of tool plus an indication where not to look, however I don’t understand how the “tool” portion fits in.
The “jeux” statement is part of a reversed acronym, but the word that is revealed could be either a noun or verb. IMHO,if a verb then the 9.5/?/3468 could be a vector as in "go 3468 feet @ 9.5 degrees" from some point (maybe the compass image located on a "stained" corner of the scroll?). If a noun then "Project Enlightenment Park" would fit. What do you think?

I think u nailed the purpose of the jeux line. It's one more confirmation of the pep solve. Imho, i wouldnt read any more into it than that. Now i wont have to try and wrack my brain on that one. New eyes are great. I overlooked that one for several weeks.

I am lost about the jeux line? What is the pep solve?
I understand the tool portion. I believe it is a hand tool. Based on the stick figures in the May clue.

Pep is the project enlightenment park solve. The jeux sentence spells the reverse acronym "project" that was posted earlier. I think the word project is an affirmation of your project enlightenment park solve and nothing else.

To your question about 8.5 and 3468. I could not discount it but doesn't seem plausible. How would this be calculated? The rest of the clues seem obvious once understood, this one seems very complicated.
But again, JIMO. I think these numbers are key. Can't figure it out!

9.5 is driving me crazy. That decimal throws off all of my theories. I was thinking 3468 could be a simple alphabetical substitution like 3468 = cdfh= "coin definitely found here" or something like that but the 9.5 does not work with that. I also like Kpro's post, but again, why the decimal? I am familiar with the statistical analysis Kpro posted, and it is very common in manufacturing process control and process improvement.

I haven't been looking here enough. My major find I posted about a few weeks ago was the project enlightenment park, found mostly by having the four cross roads in the semaphore. Some other stuff that I don't think is additionally useful is the "every leaf - every joyous sound" which I thought might be a reference to a musical garden area within the park. Also "Up heigher than most" is what made me spot Boylan Heights on the map (the neighborhood of the park) and find the four streets in the first place. This location also seems consistent with the grid map on the left side of the scroll and the phrase "could by found by a kid." I don't think those clues have any more juice to them, but thought I would through them out in case they do.
Other thought, it repeats the line "claim your stake" so I have been wondering if a fence post or something is relevant.
I assume if people have been to the site searching that every rock at or near the park has been turned over and every other potential hiding place explored. I am a couple hours away from Raleigh, so I am unlikely to make the trip to just walk around and explore unless I piece together some clue that would indicate a very specific location.
As for the May clue on Twitter, it says the coin is not in a location that has "access limitations permanent or temporary" and Project Enlightenment Park is closed to the public when the school is in session. Does this mean that the coin is not in the park? There are too many clues about the park for it to not be a very significant piece of this puzzle. Or do people think that within the park boundaries is probably still possible? I've been emailing the person running this contest to verify that it is still open (as of May 30th, the prize was still in place). So I'm thinking I will send a direct question about Project Enlightenment Park. If I get a response I will share it.
One other question, has anyone figured out if "~" is a specific thing? It is usually followed by just one word. And in the May clue it is even there in the instructions about not walking onto private property followed by the word "insane."

Cdfh = could dig for hours I have been a couple of times and can tell you that the park has been turned upside down, even bark off trees. I agree it needs to be specific to figure it out. I think the playground and school are off limits but not the park (imo). I agree too many clues not to be somewhere in there. I noticed on the twitter for the company that he uses ~ a number of times so I don't think initially it has meaning. But could be.

Has anyone identified the background image on the scroll with the words “#TreasureAwaits” written on top of it? If you left click the image then once selected right click it, you will be able to copy only the image without the words. It is a curious image with two distinct marks, a partial mark in upper left and a small dimple (?) on the right. It means nothing to me but maybe someone local can recognize it.

Engr - interesting.
I just put treasureawaits into google and then went to images. There is a curious hand drawing of a well. If you click on the source, it is a dead link? Maybe a rabbit hole, not sure.

Pretty sure that I have identified that background image. But, please, let me know what you think. I had to switch back and forth between the 2 images a bunch of times to check, but they look alike to me. Except, that the image on the scroll seems to have been stretched a little. Google Earth needs to have 3D Buildings on to see the image the best, at least for me. I checked on my IPad and on my HP Computer, the image shows up the same on both platforms.
Take a look at the roof of the southern-most building of the Project school. It looks like the roof is stained, maybe the March clue about stains is referring to this roof.
Look at the upper half of the image on the roof. The triangle-looking thing and circles and shadows all seem to match.
What do you think?

I will note that the building has no trespassing signs all around it so again it is pointing there but not on the roof or in t he building. Kudos to RB!

Yeah, I figure there will be a 100 folks trying to get up on top of the building this weekend.
I'm stuck! I figure the 9.5/3468 is something we really need to zero in.
