On the MW site is a Six Questions with Douglas Pearson: mysteriouswritings.com/six-questions-with-douglas-pearson-author-of-the-bossall-treasure/Here are some extra Questions not included within that interview: 1. Is The Bossall Treasure site live and active? Yes very much so www.bossalltreasure.com is live and maintained. Although I live in England and Menorca I am in direct contact all the time at gold@bossall treasure.com and always respond to queries. 2. Can The Croix de Lorraine, the prize, be claimed by anyone regardless of where they live? Yes they can.If someone solved all the clues correctly I would retrieve the cross from where it is hidden and send it anywhere in the world with a congratulations message and a signed copy of my book. 3. Have I put a value on The Croix de Lorraine , the prize? No I haven’t. I am very sceptical of the high values some put on some of the prizes offered, very often withdrawn at a later date or never heard of again. My prize is a quite large unique cross, about 4 inches long and the only one of its kind in the world. It is well made from of quality materials The cross on my book cover is an untouched image of the actual one. What value can you put on something unique in the world! The fun is in solving the mystery, finding the cross and owning something you know no one else has. —————————————————————————————- As you know only the ebook is available from Amazon in America. However I can and have supplied direct to America but appreciate the postage is high. My price is £21.30 approx $33.80 delivered. Payment by Pay Pal.

Jenny! Please try to do another Six Questions with Doug. Doug responded to my email in January, saying the hunt is still alive and well. But I see very little activity surrounding this hunt. His site was last updated in 2015. This hunt has me stumped.

His site was last updated in 2015. This hunt has me stumped. I can contact him for one..... I love doing them, and he is super nice. However, if you would like to post some ideas/thoughts here on anything you've found, that will help spark interest as well-- which would be great to have before the six q's. Those who have the book will likely get the urge to join in... I'll get my book out, and share some ideas too.... maybe we can get a party started...

I have to admit I'm considerably lost on this one. I haven't made any progress on the images. There's so much text and story and so many names, places, events. It's a bit overwhelming. I'm thinking of looking at "Masquarade" more with the idea that it might be partially the "model" for the Bossall hunt.

I recently started working on this hunt and I am using a Kindle Edition of the book. The Kindle version uses “Location” numbers instead of page numbers. I was wondering if the book uses page numbers and, if so, is there a way to convert location numbers to page numbers?

I'm not sure how to convert, or if you can.

Thanks for your reply. Some of the illustrations and puzzles contain numbers that may refer to page numbers. Without the ability to at least test that theory I can't proceed without the book. I wonder if the author is aware of that or...page numbers aren't relevant.

Hello all!
I have just recently received my copy of "The Bossall Treasure". It is quite interesting, but as soneone previously posted, full of names (a lot of Johns!), dates, and places. It sure hurts my brain.
The illustrations are more of what I would call "graphic design", where things appear to be cut and pasted together.
The last illustration in my book is upside-down. Is everyone else's upside-down too? I wonder if mine is just an error.
I have the physical book. And on page 7 of the book, it reads that each chapter contains a clue "through the text and the illustrations".
I am wondering if those of you here would like to make threads for each of the chapters.
I haven't read through all of the chapters yet, but I will start.

I have two print copies......one is going to be MW's Next Month's GiveAway which will be with a release of an additional Six Questions! It is signed by Douglas as well. I'm so excited! Questions have been sent already.
Both of these copies though have the last image correct. Are you talking about the one on page 297 (if it was numbered?) just to be sure we are talking about the same page.

Yes, that would be the illustration.
So mine must be an error, not something intentional.

Jenny, perhaps you can ask Douglas Pearson if he knows if the treasure is still where he buried it.

I think I will join in on this one- although names and dates scare me.
So...Am I correct in thinking there is one main clue in each chapter?
