If only I had the nerve that Priess had when he buried the boxes.

Hi Linda, Since you're now intimately familiar with the rules and regs, do you know if you need permission to use those metal probes? Or only to dig?

Hi Linda, Since you're now intimately familiar with the rules and regs, do you know if you need permission to use those metal probes? Or only to dig? here in san fran, NPS will not allow any more probing but there are parks that will. if your in NPS lands, try filling out the treasure trove application, its with GSA and NPS has final say of approval, but i think it helps, the more permission we are given, the better we have a case to move forward. good luck

well guess the secret was talk of the meeting last nite... just got email back from NPS and the City and County of San Francisco..i told yall i was gonna write to entire state, LOL
well once again, NPS declines me to probe or dig. guess they know my name in the city, as the city counsel held a meeting with NPS at AP and the secret was talk that evening, as much as they would love to have this solved, LINDA YOU CAN NOT DIG OR PROBE. nor can ANYONE. ok off to the Governor now.. thats my last hope. then IM DONE, nothing else i can do LEGALLY. i have tried all the treasure trove permits, i have used the fact that they allowed me to probe and locate this box, i have asked TV stations, GJ, and the mayor.. NPS is one powerful entity thats for sure.

Hey Linda, as I mentioned before all these local city and state offices you are contacting have no saying in the matter. They have no jurisdiction over federal parks. The only remedy that you may have is contacting Trump for an executive order. Kardashians did it and got their grandma free from prison!

hi X, thank you, where on the east coast? Hi Linda, sorry I missed this post. I'm in South Carolina and have been trying to get permission to dig in Charleston. So far no good. I also tried to get permission in St. Augustine but no good there either. I guess you have to be a celebrity for anyone to listen to you.

Definitely worth a shot! I know this same reporter also showed up at George's meet-up in San Francisco in the fall with the podcast group so he has a keen interest in The Secret.

I already have, he said there is nothing he can do to help.. no one but the governor now can grant permission.. i am waiting a response from that office.. trust me i have tried all routes possible even applied for scientific dig.. nope that didnt work either. i wish we could a tv stations attention on this but no one is responding or when they do, they say they cant help, but all want to know if and when i can dig or probe.. Section 6 of the statute describes the range of prohibited actions, including damage or defacement in addition to unpermitted excavation or removal. THIS IS WHAT NPS will charge me or any one digging will be charged with.. START A BOND FUND.
ARPA also substantially increased the penalties that can be levied against convicted violators. For a felony offense, first time offenders can be fined up to $20,000 and imprisoned for up to one year. Second time felony offenders can be fined up to $100,000 and imprisoned for up to 5 years. These criminal penalties were substantial increases from those set in the Antiquities Act of $500 and 90 days imprisonment. In addition, Section 7 of ARPA enables Federal or Indian authorities to prosecute violators using civil fines, either in conjunction with or independent of any criminal prosecution. Section 8 (b) of the statute allows the court or civil authority to use forfeiture of vehicles and equipment used in the violation of the statute as another means of punishment against convicted violator

I think you're addicted to probing! The interesting one would've been the Demaggio. Unfortunately it's already been nuked. The courts used to be north south direction. Now they are east west.
