BIG BIG NEWS!! The KEY for the Tone in the Tree đ˛HAS BEEN LOCATED!
Details: Yesterday, a team wishing to go by the name âTHE MAINE EVENTâ located the brass key using the PDF map for TONE. The team has been making amazing progress in this hunt and have just about pulled it off!
Do not be discouraged! This leaves the chest still to be found and after all, that is the rich stuff! Of Course now a team has the key so youâll need to do some research and collaboration!! đ
đ
Keep in mind, this means the chest is nearby!

That's great!
I thought the key would be the hardest to find.

So the key finders must be pulling their hair out at this point! If that chest is within so many feet of that key youâve had to be thru that area with a fine toothed comb by now. Still no luck? That thing must be in a tree trunk somewhere around there.

The chest is within 3000 feet of the key, which is a lot of ground to cover in Maine woods. Been out to MDI 7 times now and still no luck đ

The last picture they posted to confirm that the chest was still there looked to me like it's in some kind of cave.

Been out to MDI 7 times now and still no luck đ ya itâs torture knowing a treasure is in absolutely in certain spot without doubt, and still not being able to find it. Thatâs been the story of my life the last few weekends in a row too. Keep at it. Youâre bound to find it eventually.

Keep at it. Youâre bound to find it eventually. Which one are you looking for? Expedition treasure Hunt has been hiding gold/silver caches around Washington state recently. Each one is 500-1000 dollars worth of gold and silver and 100 dollar bills. Theyâre about to do the 9th or 10th one next weekend again. They move around states so keep an eye out for them on Facebook. The clues come out in an email at 9am on saturdays and then itâs go time. You have to move fast because sometimes theyâre Gone in the first day. Sometimes it takes a week or two. The clues are generally easy (compared to DBT letâs say) but the on ground physical hunts can be torture because they hide them so well.
