The Harlem Globetrotters are mentioned.
New Orleans is known as the Big Easy..
A member of the Harlem Globtrotters is also known as Big Easy.
I keep finding references to New Orleans.
Also, the hijacking story is real and happened. Thomas Robinson hijacked a plane after it departed as a connecting flight in New Orleans in 1965. The story, almost verbatim can be found with a search. There are two other cities mentioned but the fact that New Orleans is heading towards the "15 clues" mark makes me think it actually is New Orleans.

Wow, thanks for those. I searched the globetrotters but didn't catch the NO reference. And the plane one is really interesting. So now I guess the $50,000 question is whether NO is the final location or the starting location. If it's the final location, does that make the hodaddy, nada, and cipher unnecessary for us? Or do these help us find where in NO the treasure is?

I'm still at square one with good old hodaddy and nadathings. The fact that "finding the right place to park" is important makes me wonder if the general location is an area with different entrances/different parking options since it's a bigger area?

Mike,

A s weren't expecting the letter to be received until early next week, and we understand your intentions are in the right place, use of copyrighted material is not permitted under US Law. F or what it's worth, thanks for understanding. I didn't see that coming at all!
Mike's poker face definitely helped sell it (and should be useful in Las Vegas).
