Do you think key #2 is found in the red highlighted street by Lukas, or somewhere in that town? Why would he highlight only that part of the street if it wasn't there. Going on the information that I have, and it might be totally wrong, it's going to be a combination of numbers or words we might find in google streets view, or a puzzle with numbers that we see similar to that in key 1. I very much doubt it will be as simple as a single word or number on a sign being the 'password'. That's why getting the format will be crucial to make any further headway.

Why would he highlight only that part of the street if it wasn't there. i think it’s on that block personally. He could have just shown the map without the red section and people who had been looking into that town would have still recognized it no problem. The red wasn’t necessary so I think it’s relevant.

I agree. Why not a marker or a star. Instead, it's a section. I think everything there, from road to road, is fair game.

does anyone think we have to take the clues from the highlighted area and then go somewhere else to get the key?

does anyone think we have to take the clues from the highlighted area and then go somewhere else to get the key? Probably, or where do we use the clues from the second phone call. I have not been able to apply them to anything around this town.

I have not been able to apply them to anything around this town. I'm pretty sure when Lukas flashed the map in the video he mentioned it was to help make sure you had the right location for the key. Before I was able to solve the cipher, I had already looked into this place but strictly because of the name of the town. I had a list of similar places......but I'm having trouble seeing how you would be certain you would be in the right spot without the map. And the phone call hint has to have some relevance to this place but cannot find anything that would relate.

Im really thinking the phone call at least in part was purposely misleading."a fools errand" so to speak .from x to x takes you the wrong way.

It put me on the wrong book for about 2 weeks. The book had minnow creek, treasure, reference to (21), mountain homes, dogs, alchemist best, black flame etc... A lot of time wasted on the cipher. Once I had the correct book it was a matter of hours before I solved it. As for the second key I feel that I'm close and only missing a small piece, but I've been confident in many things this hunt only to find out I was incorrect, so no one is in danger here, lol.

I agree with the phone call clue is a red herring. He tells you right in the call. The map location doesn’t fit at all with the phone call. But it does fit the entire deciphered text.

That's interesting. I thought "dog-eared page" was a reference to the bookstore near the red line. I actually found the map location by hunting near Minnow Creek, so the phone call was helpful to me.

Seems like we are all stuck at the same fork in the road. Anyone interested in joining forces. I have a few leads that may be promising.
